You guys should get your BF % checked too, baseline and post-gain, after serious gains like that. Very easy to gains in fat for gains in muscle, that you won't be able to visually see.

I've definitely decided I don't like what needs to be done for bulking...still finding it stupidly difficult to manage eating more than just lunch while at work, it's at the point where I'm gonna find another desk job. I'm done with never being behind a PC where I can eat WHILE WORKING.

So for now I'm cooking bulk chicken breast (the slightly spiced shit from Lennards just now), broccoli, and brown rice (with a dash of soy sauce). Shit tastes amazing, so I'm going to eat as much of this as I can and see how slow lean gains come.

f**k my job. Lucky the pay isn't terrible...

So another few weeks have passed and another couple of kilos down... starting to get too skinny for my liking so i may start goin in the other direction again...

Call me a f**k head if u like but i like being big and and intimidating. A certain confidence comes with knowing you can look big.. even if theres a bit of fat under that shirt :D

anyway relults speak for themselves, im sure anyone can acheive what ive done with a bit of discipline in regaurds to training and diet. I could have definatly spend more time doing cardio but its boring as hell so i mainly focuesed on weights.

Let me know what yas think

left to right 96kg, 92kg, 91kg, 88kg

cheers

I reckon the 3rd pic is the best size.

You are a f**khead and you look best at the last size ;)

If it makes you happy go for what you want, that's all that matters in the end. But I'm from the party of people who will say you should stay where you are and try to put on lean muscle instead. As hard as it is to do that, let the muscle be your extra weight - then you can have your cake (well not really) and eat it too. If not for the appearance, then for the health benefits. Have your running times improved with the weight drop? Congrats on the achievement by the way - I too find it easy to change weight, but for a lot of people this is the hardest thing in the world.

I know what you mean about the weight giving you extra confidence, even if it's fat. I felt the same way at 89kg, it was about the only advantage to having fat on me. But I much prefer the definition of 80kg and I think you look best in your third pic simply cause of the lower BF. You have outline on your abs now!!! A bit more muscle on your upper chest and you'd be set! :)

Haha f**k off my chest is fine! Na your probabaly right, need to work on my shoulders too.

Running is pretty good, feeling very light and I don't have any soreness in my shins or joints which I'm really enjoying. Actually starting to enjoy it a bit

Thanks for your input birds. As valuable as ever :D

Might have to work on that tan too hey ;)

that's what I thought too.

not saying it can't be done.. I'm saying you won't be saying "putting on weight and losing it is easy as shit" when past 30

It's not just age related, it's also what happens in peoples lives in their 30's...

You'll see what I mean.

It's just not as "easy as shit"

    • I'm normally copping my own abuse from neglecting my daily drivers. "Those suspension bushes will last a bit more", "Don't worry about the oil leak, just keep topping it up". The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
    • The best part is when you own the car long enough that you look back and find your OWN ham fisted amateur shit!
    • The annoying part about neglect, is when you start to replace one thing, and find ten more broken things. Ham fisted monkey repairs you normally only find out about when trying to do something unrelated! Ha ha   Neglect you can kind of anticipate the huge costs to fix it all. Ham fistedness is normally a shock the first time your work on a new old car, as everything "looked" good before.
