Decided to use the chin up bars in the park out front of work just now...didn't take long for one of the very rare hottites to suit at the closest table and watch while she eats lunch...winning

Haha f**k off my chest is fine! Na your probabaly right, need to work on my shoulders too.

Running is pretty good, feeling very light and I don't have any soreness in my shins or joints which I'm really enjoying. Actually starting to enjoy it a bit

Thanks for your input birds. As valuable as ever :D

Might have to work on that tan too hey ;)

There's another advantage I didn't think of. It's alright to be heavy if all you do is lift weights, but once you combine it with athleticism, that's when the body starts to turn to shit. Ex footballers, ruckmen etc. usually end up with f**ked legs and backs. My running times over 3km dropped a whole minute with 7-8kg less weight, it made me fall in love with being light again lol. And don't worry about my chest comment haha, I like big chests on the male physique.

Just chugged down my first bulk nutrients shake... bought 5kg of the chocolate wpi. Not bad

Bigger already

fkn lol'd

Musta been a shit lunch if she had nothing better to do then watch u do chin ups :D

HEY EASY THERE YOU!

thats when you rip your shirt off hulk style and smash through another couple sets

Also GTST I like that idea, would be hilarious lol. Highly doubt I could even muster up one rep though.

that's what I thought too.

not saying it can't be done.. I'm saying you won't be saying "putting on weight and losing it is easy as shit" when past 30

It's not just age related, it's also what happens in peoples lives in their 30's...

You'll see what I mean.

It's just not as "easy as shit"

This man he Knows !!!!!!!

HEY EASY THERE YOU!

Come on man, sif give up like that. Get the girl on your back first, then grip the bar and kick off the ground to help get up...once you're clear of the bar all you have to do is hang on. She won't be able to tell you cheated from your back, she'll be too concerned with holding on.

I've had to bicep curl small children to impress people. Not because I wanted to, but you look like a pussy if you don't proceed with the child's request to lift them up with one arm.

Is there something you wanna confess to us Birds? We're all friends here...

Tell my wife I said...hello.

brought a different creatine drink over the weekend due to the GAT stuff being sold out. SizeOn is the stuff I got, have read good things. I wont drink it during or after my workout though. I have the creatine in the morning and shakes throughout the day and a casein shake before bed.

Initial thoughts of the SizeOn can only be judged by taste and compared to GAT its horrible. That being said it is a tasty drink and I manage to get through it whilst the water is cold. The other thing I am a little sceptical on is the serving size, 60grams seems rather odd, but with 20 ounces of water its not real grainny which is a plus.

for more info see the link below:

http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/gn/sizeon-maximum-performance.html

think those rules still apply for standard Creatine mixes. But this is a little different (i think) has all different types of BCAA's and shit through it.

not real sure but if i get bigger and stronger like they claim, ill be sure to tell you all.

It wouldn't be 66g of creatine alone, most of that would be other shit you don't even need. Seems like a gimmick to me, creatine is in so many protein powders these days anyway that supplementing with it pretty much takes you over the top when talking about RDI's.

In other news i'm now up to 87kg, 3 kg to go before I see if I can maintain that kind of weight for a while, then cut

I'd definitely agree that whatever it was he was taking is likely a gimmick for the most part, but hey - if it "helps" then so be it. Just gotta work out if it's worth the price you pay for the stuff.

    • There are advantages, and disadvantages to remapping the factory.   The factory runs billions of different maps, to account for sooooo many variables, especially when you bring in things like constantly variable cams etc. By remapping all those maps appropriately, you can get the car to drive so damn nicely, and very much so like it does from the factory. This means it can utilise a LOT of weird things in the maps, to alter how it drives in situations like cruise on a freeway, and how that will get your fuel economy right down.   I haven't seen an aftermarket ECU that truly has THAT MANY adjustable parameters. EG, the VAG ECUs are somewhere around 2,000 different tables for it to work out what to do at any one point in time. So for a vehicle being daily driven etc, I see this as a great advantage, but it does mean spending a bit more time, and with a tuner who really knows that ECU.   On the flip side, an aftermarket ECU, in something like a weekender, or a proper race car, torque based tuning IMO doesn't make that much sense. In those scenarios you're not out there hunting down stuff like "the best way to minimise fuel usage at minor power so that we can go from 8L/100km to 7.3L/100km. You're more worried about it being ready to make as much freaking power as possible when you step back on the loud pedal as you come out of turn 2, not waiting the extra 100ms for all the cams to adjust etc. So in this scenario, realistically you tune the motor to make power, based on the load. People will then play with things like throttle response, and drive by wire mapping to get it more "driveable".   Funnily enough, I was watching something Finnegans Garage, and he has a huge blown Hemi in a 9 second 1955 Chev that is road registered. To make it more driveable on the road recently, they started testing blocking up the intake with kids footballs, to effectively reduce air flow when they're on the road, and make the throttle less touchy and more driveable. Plus some other weird shit the yankee aftermarket ECUs do. Made me think of Kinks R34...
    • I do this, I also don't get the joke
    • Return flow cooler will be killing you I reckon. You can certainly push more through a low mount setup but they're good numbers for a stock looking engine bay.  Mine made 345rwkw (hub) at 22psi on 98 with a "highflow" on a stock manifold but it's a long way from a normal high flow or standard engine. I used one of those Turbosmart IWG-75's and it was great with the Motec running closed loop boost with pressure being applied to both sides of the diaphragm.
    • Hey man do you have pic of adaptor plate by any chance I need to match up the bolt holes as my gearbox adaptor plate ones are way off the only bolts of starter motor are matching thanks
