As long as it's the proper fitness model category that focusses on entire body figure, not just upper body. I recently watched a video where they were all wearing really long board shorts, and in the one scene where some of the guys were in footy shorts they looked hilarious in terms of upper to lower body proportion (chicken legs)

Personally, I could think of nothing more satisfying than knowing you can bat with the guys who take gear when you've never touched it in your life.

I was also kind of shocked to learn a couple of years ago that "natural" bodybuilding, in terms of competing, doesn't mean you've never done it...just that you've been off it long enough for the tests not to pick up on it :/

This is why I want to compete in the fitness model category, at least it's not about muscle size in that shit.

Yeah. Turns out it's a bit of a misnomer. Read a bit of TNation and other BB sites, I learned that those comps are not even well regulated from a testing point of view; contestants are subjected to random tests and are not even accompanied to the toilet / told to remove clothes to make sure they are not substituting samples Gattaca-style.

Yeah this. It's some new division of the IFBB right? The rules actually stipulate the wearing of long board shorts which is a bit laughable for anything BB related in my opinion. But getting back to Birds goals, while he might want to train legs for proportion / strength / speed, etc, the goal of looking good for the chicks can equate to less emphasis given to legs as a lot of girls don't find huge legs or a huge ass (through squats / DLs etc) that attractive!

This is a good point. I don't know about national and international rules, but in the state competition that first garnered my interest in competing, they said any swimwear was allowed except for G-strings. So if you want to cover your chicken legs with long boardies then it's fair game. Bit lame that it's condoning the top heavy bodies, but that could work in your favour if you have a good set of proportional legs and your fellow competitors have nothing to show. Fortunately I'm a thin frame up top, so I won't need much on my legs to get a good proportion going and stave off gluteus maximus...er...maximus.

cheating at a natural BB comp is the fckn lamest thing I've ever heard...

Agreed, but imagine how many would do it because they aren't competitive in the open comps!

not quite sure what your saying there... I assume your saying there's still classes for drug free athletes?

I used to think BB was way ahead of the times by acknowledging drug use and setting up another competition for drug free athletes... but if the guys who do the natural comps are just cycling off before they get tested or just cheating the tests it makes a mockery of the whole system... and is incredibly, incredibly lame

I'm saying someone who didn't do that well in steroid friendly comps would probably consider scaling back their training and use to compete in a natural comp instead, where they might have a better chance at winning.

I think that's unfair to those guys that have trained clean and enter natural comps... too much of a gray area to say well if you haven't been using in the last few months you can enter... if you've used PEDs to build your physique then you shouldn't be allowed to enter natural comps at all... just my 2c

impossible to enforce though... hence why I think its lame that guys cheat the honour system

It's almost an oxymoron (or word to that effect) to suggest anyone in competitive bodybuilding has honour...I mean, by definition of the competition you have to be fairly narcissistic and selfish - why would you care about anything other than yourself winning? Yes, I know that sounds like a blanket generalisation. You know what I mean.

This one time Birds told me a story...

Girl I'm currently tuning :P

Son of a bitch. Where do I find more like her in that pic?? Fark.

Wow, turns out Troy has a better memory of my own life

That was a funny night.

I had a stripper ask if she could kiss me on the lips the other day lol. Then she felt my ass and told her colleague (read: fellow stripper who was giving a guy a lappie) to come over and feel it for herself lol. Dude was looking at me like wtf...I was like, sorry man didn't mean to steal your stripper.

Acquire aesthetic physique alcohol, go out to clubs, get lucky

P.S. Nice taste in females TM7

I try

Hahaha good shit, instant boner killer

Not too long ago (16 weeks ago) I jumped on the roids to see what the hype is all about. I tell you what though, if you train hard, eat properly and do it right the results are there and definitely does shock the body. I tried a combination of testoterone propanoate (short acting ester) and oxandrolone for 8 weeks. My weight went from 85kg to 95kg. Hardly any fat, mininal water gains and shit loads of weight from my legs as I trained legs 2-3 times a week. Recovery times are improved dramatically. It's no wonder why people abuse them. I did proper post cycle for 4 weeks (novaldex & clomid) and only lost a few kgs. My biggest notice was the huge increase in strength which i've kept and actually even stronger now.

Side effects seen were post injection pain due to the propanoic acid. I had a little acne on the back and right shoulder. My testes started to feel tender around week 6; post cycle my libido was dead around week 4-6 after last injection. This is when you notice a sudden drop in your test levels and the idea is to restart it as fast as you can. You don't do it right and your gone.

I can see why there's the difference bewteen 18yr olds jumping on it and others that have been training almost 10 years keeping at it strong naturally before trying something. Its not something that I will much though. It burns the pockets nicely. Post-cycle Therapy costs nearly more than the roids, however, it's more important after the cycle rather than during.

So this is some anecdotal evidence for ya

Thanks Nathan, it's good to read an anecdote that is written articulately and with no apparent bias for / against.

The idea of taking injections would be so much more appealing to me if I had a med / doc keeping tabs on levels, etc; i.e. if everything was managed to make sure nothing was done incorrectly

    • I thought Australia got rid of the "drag dodgy fuel up to 91 RON with ethanol", which is why all E10 advertise as "up to 94 RON" ? Anyway I put E10/91 in the missus' Mazda because she empties the tank weekly, when all my cars get 98RON. tl;dr - turbo - 98 RON, if you can't afford that, sell it and get a commuter car (or tune your car for 91, which no one does).
    • Yeah i found that alot of parts can be wrong or "very" hard to get the real right one. I already bought some brakes years ago on me "old" GT calipers and they were wrong too 😄  I told them too. Even send them pictures...but they said "EBC catalogue has them on my car... So i dont know what their answer will be. I call monday them and let them know that they are really not on my car. If they were they would be already on a car...
    • Welcome to Skyline ownership. Yes, it is entirely possible parts websites get things wrong. There's a whole world of inaccuracies out there when it comes to R34 stuff (and probably 33 and 32). Lots of things that are 'just bolt on, entirely interchangable' aren't. Even between S1 and S2 R34's. Yes they have a GTT item supposedly being 296mm. This is incorrect. I would call whoever you got them from and return them and let them know the GTT actually uses 310mm rotors. Depending on where you got them from your experience and success will obviously vary.
    • Hi...a bit a "development" on the brakes. I spoke to the guys where i get brakes from...and they are saying that 296mm EBC are for R34 GT-T. I then went to their site: https://www.ebcbrakes.com/vehicle/uk-row/NISSAN/Skyline (R34)/ and search for my car(R34 GT 1998 - it has GTT brakes) and it show me this USR1229 number and they are rly 296mm rotors... So now iam rly confused... The rotors i have now on the car are 310mm asi shown... So where is the problem? Does the whole EBC got it wrong or my calipers are just...idk know what?
    • Oh What the hell, I used to get a "are you sure you want to reply, this thread is XX months old" message. Maybe a software update remove that. My bad.
