With the cost of said meals (including chef's pay, all appliances and kitchenware, utilities like gas etc, and delivery) being of absolutely no concern to the man.

Oh also he has all the time he wants to work out. ALL the time.

And finally, gear. Though that's the least relevant point here haha

whilst I don't completely disagree with that point, he would shoot for long periods of time. In Arnies new encyclopedia of bodybuilding he talks about time for regular people, mentions when he went to the gym in the morning there were a few dedicated people also their at 4am (attorneys and such), also when he was first bodybuilding professionally there was only a couple people making a living from the sport.

so whilst he would have time, he would also make time

one of my mates, skinny bloke, got on roids for a brief period of time, said he has never been so hungry in his life

yeah I was gonna say - people want to eat and train like the Rock, but they don't usually seem to grasp the fact of his other supplementation lol..

this is one thing that annoys me. Personally i dont care if someone takes roids, but if you ask the question as to how said person got bigger, imo don't leave it out because its important.

Oh yeah if you want something enough you'll MAKE time for it...unfortunately for some of us that's just too much to ask :( whereas for Teh Rok, he'd have enough cash to retire on the stop....so ultimately he has no overwhelming time commitments he can't ditch, like a job :P

i somewhat agree with this however ANYONE and i mean ANYONE (roids or not) if your goal is size then you need to dedicate the time in the gym aswell as the time in the kitchen!

Roids dont just make you big. You still have to work as hard if not harder to get the results

Good point Damo, though yeah I'm with Mitch on what he actually meant - when someone approaches you and asks what supps you take/how you got so huge, if you're gonna answer them answer truthfully.

Also let's not downplay steroids by always saying that you have to work just as hard if not harder to get the results they give...as if natty people are incapable of working out to the same intensity, yet are only restricted by recovery etc. I know I would work out every day and the same muscles if I was able to. I'd also eat like a monster if my body demanded it. The reality is if you took them away from the people who use them, they would be nowhere near where they are. They're illegal for a reason; they work.

I'd of thought they were illegal more so because of the potential health concerns.

Protein supps work, they're not illegal...

That said, I know SFA about steroids so I can't really comment with any conviction.

I know I have no interest in them, that's enough for me.

I meant in sports, sorry should have clarified. But yes they are also illegal because they can be dangerous, and yes dangerous because they do what they are supposed to do, else no one would bother using with the risk.

I don't see why they don't just have a juiced up games.

Let people go nuts on any gear they want. Would see some amazing results and would accelerate the development of various drugs, which could then be used for non sporting reasons in patients etc.

Or do we call that Tour de France these days?

Boom. f**king lol.

there was a study on intramuscular testosterone injections that showed that you can gain a considerable amount of lean body mass by simply sitting around on your arse too lol.

LOL @ 600mg/wk, that's a pretty damn high dose hahaha

Also LOL @ "weekly" enanthate injections. That ester shouldn't be administered any less frequently than every 3 days.

To some extent yes, but mostly wrong.

There are plenty of studies around where guys were given test, did no exercise at all, and gained more muscle than guys that were training their asses off.

Getting a little sick of people saying "who cares if he's on roids, he has to work just as hard..blah blah blah".

In reference to becoming an IFBB pro, yes.

In reference to becoming a mad-lad juiced up festival goer that slays facebook broad minded persons day and night, NO.

EDIT: beaten to it by Boz

DOUBLE EDIT: LOL at slag being corrected

i had to laugh @ the local supplement shop selling a tribulus based bro supplement as Post Cycle Therapy though LOL, I suppose if you're that stupid you deserve gyno.

I have no problem with steroids, but think people should at least admit when they are on them so that people can get some idea of what is a realistic result from being 'natty' vs supplemented.

Studies of roid use that show people gaining lean muscle doing nothing . The ones i have seen are all based on skinny slob individuals (normal westerners except choice was for lower end weight people for study). Both before and after roids they are still puny. Low base.

People who i have known go on the juice without modification to diet and excersise (same gym same diet) showed gains. But relative to them . In other words they were still weaker than someone who took training serious and diet. I trained with them on occasion and my training gave me a massive advantage. Looking at the two of us (similar genetics) i would have been picked as the juice taker if someone had a choice.

Also roids cant change genetics. Others i have known went to them after locking in everything else and the gains were significant but not

Ridiculous. It gave a clear edge and speed of devlopment and growth.

Roids are illegal mostly because they work. However Athletes are not average punters . Joe blogs not matter what juice he takes even with gym-bro training aint going to get within spitting distance of a clean athlete. Why ; genetics + training and diet.

actually, make a good point Damo,

what i mean was if asked what supplements and shit you take, don't leave it off the list or if asked just say yes

creatine brah....!

    • Hi all, I’ve just finished fitting the timing belt on my RB25, following the standard procedure: rotate the crank twice, release the tensioner, then tighten it down. The belt feels tight, and you can see that clearly in the picture below I’ve heard some people say it’s actually better for the belt to be slightly loose rather than too tight, as excessive tension can lead to snapping. So that’s in the back of my mind. What I’m seeing is this:  • At idle, the belt looks fine.  • But when cranking and especially when revving (around 3–4,000 RPM), there’s a momentary flap/flex or flicker in the belt, which I’ve tried to capture in the video. So my question is — based on what you see, is this slight belt movement something you’d consider normal, or am I just being OCD? Could this amount of movement cause sync issues? Or is it just a harmless bit of flex under load?   from what I know belt flap and flex is expected when crank spins up and pull cam with it Would appreciate any thoughts or similar experiences.     IMG_7656.mov IMG_7657.mov
    • I've replaced the front brakes of my NA to 324 brembos and 350z calipers: i'm going for 225/40-18 up front and 245/35-18 in the back. I have Rays 7.5*19 ET35(225/35) in the front with 5mm spacers otherwise the calipers "lock up/ won't rotate". When i use the calculator i come up with 8*18 ET30 for 225/40...... but not sure i get problems with the calipers. Anyone riding around with 18 inch. that can confirm "that it'll fit"? In the back it's 7.5*9 ET30 (245/30) with the 5mm spacers, but there is no problem with the standard small brakes, so i want to take 8.5*18 ET25 (245/35).
    • Lol.. but then.. always come back to a JDM..
    • Glad to hear. If possible, get your tuner to check air's to make sure everything is still where it should be.
    • The problem with FB/Insta/Reddit etc comments relating to cars is simple. You get to ask a question once, and get one round of replies. For things that can actually be answered in a few lines of text, once, it's fine. After 6 hours, your original question is lost to the void. There are no follow ups, additional questions, anything. No project car is ever such a simple list of questions to ask. You need discussion.
