genetics.

depending who you talk to will depend on the answer. Some people believe that there is a difference between the upper and lower pec, others claim its all the one pec

whatever u do just make sure you smash the chest area and eat enough food for it to recover

Yep, I hit them hard and eat enough, was hoping it wouldn't be genetic and somthing simple that I'm not hitting :(

I notice decent results with an exercise I'll loosely term "1-handed standing dumbbell flies". Standing (obviously) with just a single dumbbell in one hand (right hand for this example), have the dumbbell resting beside your right hip, elbow slightly bent. Raise dumbbell across your chest until it's in front and above/in line with your left shoulder, pinching your right pec in the final stage of the movement, then lower back to starting position. Ensure not to bend your elbow through the movement.

I've found this exercise hits the upper most fibres of the pec, though still predominantly works anterior delts.

Interesting. I've already bought it and started, but it's only a 100gm bag so not a big spend.

Grabbed some creatine again too plus BN goofed and sent me WPI instead of WPC.

Expecting 500% gainz.

One thing I think I can say about it is that after 3 days, my sleep patterns are not great.

I will switch to morning and noon and try to avoid it at night. I have not felt this "awake" since before having the baby.

Last nights gym session felt more or less the same, didn't feel as fatigued after and got through everything (but I have also dropped reps back and added weight so I can start to build a little more size/strength again). I'd attribute that more to creatine.

See what the next for weeks shows up, but there's definitely an "issue" with sleeping.

BN pre-workout has had a disclaimer thrown on it, it seems it has stuff that gives a positive drug reaction.

I got some a while ago to see how pre-workouts were, as I get tested at work it looks like Ill have to bin it.

On the BN stuff I had to cut the dosage to 2 grams mixed 10 grams of their BCAA, anymore and if taken after 1200 I would be up half the night.

I did notice that the pre lift rage was easier to achieve when taking the 2 grams, 5 grams made my face tingle, LOL.

Just did some reading up, no wonder my face was tingling.

Trust me to try something that has been found to make your brain bleed, give you high blood pressure and chance of stoke.

Apparently its big with truckers and miners.

No wonder it helped me get my rage on, I was on a drug fuelled happy fun slide.

You can still get it if you don't mind the risk of death and/or having a stroke.

Looks like its back to a strong coffee and banana for my pre-workout.

Face tingles is due to Beta Alanine isn't it?

Off the top of my head theres nothing adverse with Beta Alanine, and dosages up to 3g are ok and assist with performance

If you looked over the ingredients in your BN pre workout I bet it has this ingredient in it

yes it is due to beta alanine, mixed in with taurine in the BN pre workout.

What on earth ingredient are you talking about? o.O AMP citrate? Or caffeine? coz you know, it could potentially do the same thing if your number came up.

Beta-alanine causes the itchy/tingly face/scale/hands. It's not dangerous.

While yeah, it's effectively an RC given it's new and has no research conducted on it, I don't think it's right the way everyone just jumps on the "zomg it's deadly!!11!" bandwagon. It's similar to DMAA, yes, though DMAA was never found to be the direct cause of death in the widely publicised cases regarding it (stupid kid in NZ and the 2 US [i think] soldiers). It was almost immediately ruled out in the coronary report for the soldiers, and the kid in NZ had (from memory) 5 times the 'supplemental' dose in his system, along with an undisclosed amount of caffeine and alcohol.

Not at all saying it's safe, coz I mean at the end of the day it's still a stimulant and even if it is 'safe' it's still putting unnecessary strain on your body. But the claims of all these horrific health risks (which you're seemingly guaranteed to suffer should you even consider touching the stuff) are unfounded and misleading, imo.

ASADA would likely ban something based on the fact it's at least supposedly a PED; not necessarily because it's harmful (though definitely a factor, of course).

Well Friday's gym session went surprisingly well, added a bit of weight to everything and got it all out, but that could be reintroducing creatine or having more protien or having dropped reps and adding weight for stimulus etc.

2 things I am finding and possibly attributing to the DAA is that my sleep patterns are bad, i am now dropping the dose and only having it in the morning and that when annoyed I seem to get angry, quite angry for me. I had to remove a star picket on the weekend and almost lost my shit because I couldn't get it out. Grabbed my sledge hammer and beat the shit out of it (got it out though) and managed to damage the garden bed also. I haven't raged like that for a while. Might be unrelated as I've been very busy/tired etc but still something to note.

Haven't you supposedly low test levels? If DAA is raising your test levels to an aggression level, you're probably onto a miracle, Embrace it, get massive.

"possibly attributing"

I think the sleep pattern issue is definitely the supp, i think the aggression is just being so f**king tired and just worn the f**k out (and possibly amplified by the supp?) Work/home etc has been mad busy and then weekends roll around and I spent 12hrs doing shit I hate doing and while I had success, it was a hard slog, stuffed today so it may just be stress related.

As for low test levels, it shouldn't be an issue by now, if you're referring back to my comments from when Ella was born and being too emotional, that shit is supposed to stop around the 1yr old mark, she's 19mths old now. Granted I might just be a huge pussy though.

Anyway, just sharing what I'm seeing. Really should have had a blood test done before and after.

EDIT: Since dropping reps, adding weight and getting back on the protien I've come up from 82-83kg in the morning to 85 so far. Ideally I'll add another 3-4.

    • There are advantages, and disadvantages to remapping the factory.   The factory runs billions of different maps, to account for sooooo many variables, especially when you bring in things like constantly variable cams etc. By remapping all those maps appropriately, you can get the car to drive so damn nicely, and very much so like it does from the factory. This means it can utilise a LOT of weird things in the maps, to alter how it drives in situations like cruise on a freeway, and how that will get your fuel economy right down.   I haven't seen an aftermarket ECU that truly has THAT MANY adjustable parameters. EG, the VAG ECUs are somewhere around 2,000 different tables for it to work out what to do at any one point in time. So for a vehicle being daily driven etc, I see this as a great advantage, but it does mean spending a bit more time, and with a tuner who really knows that ECU.   On the flip side, an aftermarket ECU, in something like a weekender, or a proper race car, torque based tuning IMO doesn't make that much sense. In those scenarios you're not out there hunting down stuff like "the best way to minimise fuel usage at minor power so that we can go from 8L/100km to 7.3L/100km. You're more worried about it being ready to make as much freaking power as possible when you step back on the loud pedal as you come out of turn 2, not waiting the extra 100ms for all the cams to adjust etc. So in this scenario, realistically you tune the motor to make power, based on the load. People will then play with things like throttle response, and drive by wire mapping to get it more "driveable".   Funnily enough, I was watching something Finnegans Garage, and he has a huge blown Hemi in a 9 second 1955 Chev that is road registered. To make it more driveable on the road recently, they started testing blocking up the intake with kids footballs, to effectively reduce air flow when they're on the road, and make the throttle less touchy and more driveable. Plus some other weird shit the yankee aftermarket ECUs do. Made me think of Kinks R34...
    • I do this, I also don't get the joke
    • Return flow cooler will be killing you I reckon. You can certainly push more through a low mount setup but they're good numbers for a stock looking engine bay.  Mine made 345rwkw (hub) at 22psi on 98 with a "highflow" on a stock manifold but it's a long way from a normal high flow or standard engine. I used one of those Turbosmart IWG-75's and it was great with the Motec running closed loop boost with pressure being applied to both sides of the diaphragm.
    • Hey man do you have pic of adaptor plate by any chance I need to match up the bolt holes as my gearbox adaptor plate ones are way off the only bolts of starter motor are matching thanks
