havent had any personal experience with it..have you used any of those supplements before???

ive heard tribulus is suppose to be good but not really an idea about it.

figured purple wratth and protein ws doiing me good...plus decent diet mainly pasta and rice dishes & chicken

Yeah i've used them before except triandrobol and trib, depends what you wanna do, i gained about 8 kgs in 4 weeks, i was on a 5 day program and low-carb diet. yes! lots of Chicken :D

shenq how old are you? trib doesnt work... unless your test levels are down, roughly 27yrs+

I'm 23, yeah i heard ups n downs about tribulus, most of them are downs lol, so i ditched that and got micronised creatine instead, it should go well with beta-alanine. triandrobol has about 60% trib terrestris in each tablet, and also high in steroidal saponins.

Why would you be on a low carb diet if you are trying to gain weight? trib is a waste of money.

if the other supp your getting is from a supp store here in aus, most likely it probably wont work or will have very little gains. best thing to do is have a spot on diet, 60/40 protein/carb. for building mass, a good protein and a good creatine.. Most supps here in aus are crap compared to the stuff in the US. So save your cash unless you know someone who can get supps from the US

you still gain weight when you on low carb mate, just need to maintain the right amount of serving carb per each portion, i.e i eat equivalent of 3 cups of rice or pasta per day.

You either bulk or you cut. You won't grow if you aren't having enough calories

From personal experiences, i gained at least 6-8 during my 8 weeks of training when i was on that diet. and not everyone is either bulk or cut lol

If you were replacing the missing carbs with fats then yeah i can see that you would grow a little. If you were on a 'low carb' diet (how low?) and weren't eating fats and STILL grew then you don't know how to diet properly lol

Well yeah fatty acid is essential part of the diet, like olive oil, avocado etc, each person has different physiques n figures, not everyone will work on a diet which would suit them the best, mate you if are struggling putting on weight maybe you should try a different diet n program

i dont have a progress shot... but i remember when the 2 points of bone on the top of my shoulders were sticking out.. and i hated it.. i noticed this morning that they are now surrounded by my delts and my traps.. im not huge... but thats progress right therr... same as my collarbones... they are now surrounded by my upper pecs.

Definately a bit of fat but not too much. You are always going to put on some fat when you are eating so many calories a day

how much of that 25kg would be muscle?

can you post up some before and after pics? I'm genuinely interested to see how you gained 25kgs in 12 months.

So your saying you built 2kg muscle / month for 12months?

If your happy with your results, congrats, I think I've built 15kg in the past 2-3 years if I'm lucky

But unless your on something illegal or your genetically special, that's not physically possible from what I can see, have a read of the truth about bulking

Although I'd still say your strength level is much much more important than kg/muscle. Who cares if you've got 30kg muscle, I'd rather be deadlifting 200kg (that's my goal for the year, not looking too good at the moment).

This was me before i even stepped foot into a gym, been that skinny size my whole life.

    • Which is why I didn't mention that hardness testing, and specifically mentioned the bore and deck thickness testing. Yeah, not really. The bore temperature will be a lot more even around the top half inch or so, where the material distribution is dominated by the deck, and which is the only place where the bore surface temperature heating any gas in the cylinder is likely to have any effect on detonation. Think about it. Another inch or so down the bore, you might have a hotter spot. The gas there might get a bit hotter, then the piston rises squeezes that gas away from there at high speed and mixes it with other gas from nearby. Instant dilution of the problem. I'd be surprised if it was an issue at any time other than in racing engines or OEM dev engines being run at the ragged edge of tuning. Say what now?
    • https://dsportmag.com/the-tech/education/engine-tech-material-hardness-testing/ The PRP testing on block hardness I'm not sure how much it actually can be trusted. The thinner cylinder walls on RBs is a bit of a problem vs 2JZ but it really depends on the design goal. Siamesed cylinder bores like a 2JZ cause uneven cylinder wall temps too, which means a bit of distortion induced by that + the hotspot can affect knock margin. Something that actually gives me a bit of pause with the PRP block, whether super thick cylinder walls are going to keep it from being drop-in compatible on an otherwise OEM rebuild.
    • Yeah very valid point. I am waiting for one of the other tuners to come back from vacation so he can help me a bit when the cat is installed again. In the meantime I am going to finish up my polishing and ceramic coating that I have started myself.    N45 Dr Beasley product is highly recommended for a paint primer / polisher. Using this EXO Gtechniq also for the ceramic but next time might use the light serum before hand also. Looks great.
    • Running rich in conditions where it shouldn't probably won't do great things for catalytic converter lifespan. I would fix that sooner than later.
    • Yes, important point. Watch the Motive videos with Herman thickness testing the bores and deck. You do not want to push the unlucky (thin) block as hard as you can push the average block.
