Hey guys,

Could you direct me to someone who sells the GTR wide fenders and rear guards to convert my body of the GTT to GTR spec?

Either that or im going to do some sick custom work >_< Expensive tho :'(

Im also using the eastbear front bar (gtr conversion crap) so need the front fenders designed to fit a GTT front bar.

If anyone can help please do, Really want to start collecting parts\

Thanks

Im expecting URAS to reply, hopefully hes looking around the forums and will let me know if hes found a 2 door wide kit provider in japan :P

I think they look really good and they are really good quality to.

And at $240 a pair they are good value.

I think DECIM8 is looking for R34... his car is R34 GT-T...

and its GT-T -> GT-R..

Yeah thanks guys been ringing around, can only order from japan none seem to be sold here.. the search continues

If you have pics of what you're looking for (GTR rear and front fenders you can find on yahoo auto japan but you gotta search through over 400 pages of items if you can't read and type japanese) then ask www.rhdjapan.com if they sell it. They'll most likely find it for you and price it. They are native English speakers and they ship EMS so everything should be smooth.

so you want wide fenders, but you want the east bear front bumper? doesn't work like that... for the east bear bumper, you only need to change the bonnet and the bumper fits up to the standard GTT guards.

If you go factory GTR fenders, then you can source OEM of aftermarket GTR parts

Oh and to SS, You can buy guards that line up to factory front bumpers but are flared more than GTT guards.. Like the Z tune ones for GTT which are being made, Still waiting if they are finished :)

Thats what Ill be getting as fitting a front GTR bar and side fenders is a painful process.

And the eastbear kit is alot nicer :)

right o, well you better be damn sure that it will fit. East Bear don't muck around, they charge the earth, but the quality is second to none. If the aftermarket guards you put on aren't good, the front bar ain't going to fit

    • The real question is, on some of those wild roads they call highways, how many times did a farmer in an old ute from the early 2000s blaze past you over double lines?   Tassie is a wild and really cool place, and after doing a work related road trip there January of 24, I understand why Targa Tasmania is ran there, and is so tough to do well at! We had a brand new Camry Hybrid that handled quite nicely, and thankfully weren't in an old car, because cresting some of those hills in a 100kmh zone for it to suddenly be like "surprise f**kers, this is a recommended 30kmh hard right turn" wouldn't be pretty. We weren't racing the Camry around, but we weren't slouching in the bends either. But my lord those old farmers know their old clapped out utes, and those roads, as they were absolutely hammering it!   You're also super lucky to make it up to Mt Wellingtong this time of year. It's often road closed with snow/ice! Also, I hope you hit up Salamander Road in Hobart for some insanely good food (I highly recommend the dimly lit Irish pub for a Guiness Pie, or even the bangers and mash!!!)   How long did the Ferry take to get across? I want to do a road trip of Tas on my own time, but I get horrifically sea sick, and I don't want me on the Ferry, just the car 😛
    • So far so good, about 30km on it so far and nothing out of sorts yet thankfully
    • Look at @Kinkstaah's thread on the issue.
    • Hmm not really, I'd say its race car life or modified car life when you make 3 or 4 times the power Nissan designed the car for lol.
    • I'll let others with more breakage chime in, but I can't think of anyone who had a problem with the standard centre plate before they had a problem with the standard gears - the plate generally just gets replaced for safety when the gearset is upgraded. As for the gearsets, its not like they are OK at 600Nm and break at 601. Their longevity is a combination of how much torque you are making and how gentle you are on shifts (or not).
