Yeah. if ur licence is suspended, dont drive. This will cost u bigtime now ;\

As for a lawyer, check out Matthew Mitchell lawyers on Prospect Road, they do auto cases quite a lot.

first of all- the correct spelling of the words are 'court', 'summons', 'licence' and 'magistrates'

secondly- you have absolutely no chance of not getting your suspension extended. good luck learning the lesson with 27 months worth of catching the bus

..... any help or suggestions would be so much appreciated!

As said above, it is clear if you are still driving while disqualified, you haven't learnt your lesson from the 1st disqualification - so hopefully they take your license for good. You may be looking at jail time, but knowing the pathetically weak justice system in SA I wouldn't be surprised what little punishment you get. I just can't believe anyone would be stupid enough to drive whilst disqualified - it smacks of complete disrespect for the law, and other people - given you would have no valid insurance, and worse still, no valid 3rd party person insurance - which meant if you caused an accident and injured someone, they would get no compensation for medical costs/injury/suffering.

go easy guys, shit happens...

Mark, its a must to be lawyered up for these situations. Driving whilst disqualified is a criminal offence.... i learnt... got thrown in the fkn watchhouse for the same thing, and later down the track after the court biz finished up, the fine was ridiculous. I was lucky they didnt give me a suspended sentence to prison... my record aint too flash, and neither is yours by the looks of it.

Just hope you got the coin and are ready to fork out for a trust account with a lawyer, which can be quite a hefty amount depending on who you choose to represent ya.

I reccomend Nick Vadasz on Currie St.

Good luck mate

thanks for your comments. ive heard it all before and just to clarify i diddnt drive on a regular basis it was a once off...... just after i had my ecu fitted i wanted to make sure thigs were ok it wasnt around the block but it wasnt over 5 blocks away either... yes i f**ked up and yes i have to deal with it but i do respect the law and other people. i return wallets/ phones if i find them and always try to do the right thing.... and i know most are going to say you disrespected the law by driving... well its not like i was one of the hundreds that drive tow ork knowing they are suspended i just took my car thru the local back streets to make sure it was running ok..... after a 9 months of being f**ked and doing the right thing i just wanted to make sure my car was running ok.

but for those that have placed up valid help i sincerely appreciate it

many thanks

mark

ok sorry Mark I came off a bit harsh. Sounds like you were not habitually doing it like tons of disqualified retards do - sounds like you got a little unlucky. Hope it turns out ok for you.

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
