Don't bother wasting your time. Legend01 on the forums is running standard air box with CAI and is making 306rwkw.

Just use a standard air box with a good paper panel filter along with a good flowing CAI and it will work perfect.

Pod in standard air box isn't worth it, I also dropped the idea after being told.

from my experience, not worth buying a ready-made box, cause most chances it wont fit as everyone has a different setup.

Easy enough to make your own one;

- Use cardboard to make a template, and then cut it out onto plastic/metal

Here's a picture i found for a r32 gtst

thanks guys

any other ideas?

in one ear and out the other.

^^^ Agreed...ALL the answers to ALL the questions you ask can be found by searching!!!

In this case...if you must...you can butcher the standard airbox to fit a pod in it...as i have mentioned in a couple of other posts...i have done it and it works fine...whether there is a benefit or not is up to you...to say it isn't worth it might be abit short sighted but to each their own...i did it because i had a quite a few pods sitting in my garage...i run the pod in the airbox for street driving and remove the cover for track work...make your own choice from there....

Anything 90's Japanese is not a great experience these days and highly over rated. • I mean, the 240i is not a Supra... make it drop a few hundred kg, have a sportscar chassis, clearance for wheels etc... Maybe I want a hardtop Z40i XDrive or something :p I do agree with you though and have long said the B58 Supra/240i/340i/440i is the new R Chassis/JDM90's turbo rocket for mod lovers to ... not always appreciative response lol. Doesn't make it not true though.
    • I will do the build myself but I will be paying for the tune because I don't know how much about that and would rather it be done right and by a professional
    • Will you build and tune it yourself or do you need to pay for labour?
    • Mechanically that's essentially what the M240i is, it's just not pretending it's not a BMW
