Im trying to deceide which plenum to go for.Its either Greddy or Plazmaman.Seeing how the Plazmaman item is only the top half does this mean that the top half of the stock 33 plenum is the most restrictive?

Will the lower intake runners support 500hp?

Both are very good items, will it just come down to what look i want in the engine bay?

Depends on your choice, but i'd go the greddy. The full intake replacement is best for both big or low power because it will add some responsiveness.

Which one suits your budget? Making 500hp isn't cheap. Add that and you have the answer.

dave you should give plazmaman a go if its not all drag, keeping the longer runners is a good idea for low down. I havent made this decision yet either, but thats because i dont want a plenum that looks like it is custom ie polazmaman's curvy thing. i want one that looks like it 'might' be nissan

what throttle body you planning to run?

Greddy i think is setup for the Q45 - and you need an adapter for the std one

Plazmaman is setup for the std one, im just starting to look into what i have to change on mine to fit the Q45

hypertune has better flow then the greedy item

cost 2200 with any size throttle body

killer plenums but for 2200 forget it in this application, unless your after every poofteenth NYTSKY.

Used one on a 300awkw+ EVO 6.5 TME and it was the best plenum ive seen... the TB was average though.

Topsecret has plenum for around 2K with Q45 Throtle body. looks pretty sexy IMO its the best one on the block in looks and performance. look at nengun or topsecret site.

Greedy I think someone is selling one on this site for $700 i think in perth do a search.

I guess if im on a budget i go greedy if i wanted all out i go topsecret looks dam impressive.

You get what you pay for, if you try to sell it later you will get good return on a jap product than an imitation one.

    • Aye, everything is being touched and all the parts that are responsible for the oiling issues are also fixed. (Crank collar, billet prp oil pump, head return to sump, yada yada yada)  Everything used is of reputable brands like greddy, prp etc. My tuner did mention we’d keep the torque on the “lower” side.   glad to read that my engine won’t blow up on me lmao
    • It's a fuel pump. EFI, high pressure, but specs otherwise unknown. A bodge job.
    • 800 engine horsies is fine. Will need all the obvious upgrades. Rods, pistons, oil pump, big sump, sump breathing mods. Build for revs because revs are power with less stress on the bottom end compared to boost. Keep the torque down in the midrange, either by limiting boost or timing.
    • Hiya guys,    i’m currently in the process of getting my rb26 built. everything is being replaced with better/upgraded parts or oem when that’s good enough (which isn’t alot lol). someone earlier mentioned to me that i’ll be screwed cause the iron block can’t take 800hp (to the engine, not wheels) which is what it’s being built for.  what do you guys think about this, am I cooked or na? The guy building the engine will also do the mapping as he is “the guru of old nissan engines” here in Belgium. I know the mapping makes a huge deal so i’m not concerned about that.    I honestly he’s talking shit cause he’s that kinda guy but a second opinion never hurt anyone! cheers in advance! 🫶🏻
    • I'm seeing torque specs all over the place for the OUTER tie rod, but none for the INNER tie rod, where it connects to the steering rack. Even in videos, people are just tightening em up as much as they can with a wrench and that's it. Anything tightened down without torque makes me nervous. Anyone know what the spec is for it?
