5000km Service Nissan Or Independant

hey,just about to go get a pink slip and service done.

Was thinking of getting a Nissan dealership service or my local garage to do it.Anyone have any experience with nissan (with the v35) or thoughts?

I also need the part number for the oil filter and fuel filter.Im guessing they are the same as the 350z ??

Yes oil filter is the same as the 350z, so tell Rapeco that.

Someone correct me, but I don't think the fuel filter is an easily accessible or even a replaceable part?

i could,but i live in a unit so theres no where to do the service.

thats strange with the fuel filter-surely the lines coming into the engine bay would provide room for a replaceable fuel filter.

Just phoned Nissan,they have fixed pricing for all the models.

The 350z came to $240 for the standard service,$400 for full

I asked what the v35 would cost and was told about the same -so $240 including genuine nissan parts

From the owners manual re: the fuel filter -

• On gasoline engine models with the Multiport Fuel Injection (MFI) System, the fuel filter or fuel lines should be serviced by an INFINITI retailer because the fuel lines are under high pressure even when the engine is off.
  

• Fuel filter replacement: See NOTE (4) -> (4) Maintenance-free item (In-tank type fuel filter).

you just gotta love this car : )

all my mates lookin at spending $35k+ on their new car just cant find anything that beats the v35 in value,features,performance and luxury.
