Rb25 To Rb30 Coversion

Hey there all.

My father and I are now thinking of swapping out the RB25DET in our Skyline and doing one of those conversions with a RB30 and an RB25 head.

What sort of bottom end do I need, will a standard RB30 sufice or do I need an RB30 turbo bottom end???

Once I get a modified head, I will get performance cams and gears.

Here are my other ideas.

-Forged internals, ie:

Rods and pistons.

-T3/T4 TO4E Turbo.

-Top mount Turbo manifold

-Boost controller (obviously)

-Cams

-Gears

-Power FC thing....... Is this a piggy back mod for a standard ECU???

That is where my knowledge ends.

I would be looking to spend about $5-10K on the engine.

I want to by the parts and build it but I will have it professionally tuned.

I am looking for more ideas so your ideas will be much appreciated
