Hey boys & girls.

As most of the NSW members know we are holding quite a few events this year.

These events just cannot happen without the help of lovely volunteers that dedicate their time and efforts to a sport they love the most.

We are looking for volunteers for our first Texikhana for the year which will be held on the new date of 4th May 2008

This is your chance to get as close to the action as possible without taking part!

For your time and dedication we will supply a free lunch and drinks to the volunteers & a discount on the next Texikhana you enter. You will also get to sit on one of our new comfy SAU camping chairs to watch all the action & more! There will be a brake around midday for a BBQ and you will get to change positions around the day.

I'm also looking for anyone who has done a first aid course or similar.

Edit:

If anyone can think of their wife/husband/girlfriend etc.. who would like to be involved they are most welcome as well.

All volunteers must be 18years and over.

If anyone is interested can they please either post in the thread or pm me.

Cheers,

Corinne

Without actually taking part :D

When was the date changed by the way? Can we be confident that THIS date won't change?!

I'll be there taking care of the skid pad again, but will need AT LEAST 1 helper (preferrably pretty with big knockers to keep me entertained :D)

Yes without actually taking part.. but volunteering can be just as fun!

We have confirmed the date. The only reason that it changed is because one of the state events was being held on that date. It's not going to change.

D00f you are quite capable of taking care of the skidpands but I'll be there to help you out during the day.

I know I'm capable, but I'm also lazy... It worked really well with me and Kelly working it last time, one on the timer watching for penalties, and one writing down the times and making sure people are lined up correctly...

Jas, if you want to help me out then I would really appreciate it :D

If not, whatev... I won't be heartbroken..

hey corrine :P , if i'm already there competing and no one else puts their hand up, i'll help out on the bbq again for a bit. so long as the we don't have the same wind issues as last time :) .

is this going to be at sutton driver training centre ACT again?

i did a senoir first aid course in 2007 (so it's technically expired, do u care?). also i was a vet nurse, but you're all a bunch of animals once you get out on the track anyway :)

all I need is a lift and I'm yours :D

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
