Please open ecu cover.

If do not glue on chip I am able to remap.

If you do not know about chip , Please take ecu inside picture and send to me.

Well worth getting done guys had my car done earlier this year and by far was the best mod i have even done.

big improvement in power and torque and better fuel economy i would highly recommend Toshi to anyone

I will be getting my S13 tuned by him also as soon as i get my engine back from the machinist.

Hey guys I thought I would post up my results.

We spent 12 hours last Tuesday tuning my car! We took so long because Toshi had some problems but we got it sorted out in the end.

Car pulls so hard to redline now. It was quick before but now whoa it's like a new car! Very happy with the results. It started out with 134.4kw stock so not a bad increase from that.

Thanks Toshi! :P

Car is an R34 GTT 98.

Mods include:

ARC SMIC

Boost set to 12psi going down to about 7psi by redline

Silicone intake pipe

High flow panel filter

3" Batmbl Split dump/front pipe

Stainless High flow cat

3" NISMO R34 GTR catback without middle muffler

Toshi Remap

United Boost 98 (98 octane with 10% ethanol)

Everything else is stock

Power = 178.6kw

hi Toshi.

I'm new here and just a beginner to all the Skyline's stuffs ...... So here is my few questions.

My car is a '98 r34 GT sedan non turbo. Its an auto and i reckon every single things are stock included ecu. My car has a bad fuel consumption , feel sluggish , alrdy changed sparks.... u got any ideas/options for my car coz' id like make it a bit faster + better fuel use. Lot of guys recommend u so i'd love to hear ur opinions ;) Do i have to change to a aftermket ECU or just remap a stock one ?

Thanks :D

Couldnt agree more with you there. Think i got mine done back in 2008, and it was one the best mods i have ever done to the car. Even did a trackday straight after and had problems at all ;)

Toshi - I actually drove past your house the other day and it brought back some good memories of road testing the car across the bridge :D

Apart from skylines, can you do toyota chasers? I dont own a skyline anymore.

Hi

How are you.

Do you want to remap ecu or power fc tune?

JZX90 is able to remap but JZX100 is POWER FC only.

Thank you

spent around 4-5hrs tuning my car monday. really wanted to get a dyno before and after but just couldnt wait to get the tune done. all i have to say is... WOW.

only picked the ECU up today as he didnt have any tuneable ecus on hand and had to get his mate to modify mine. drove it home in the pissing down rain and when it did finally grab traction it flew. cant wait to drive it on the dry.

Toshi is an extremely knowledgable person and is not satisified with his work until you are.

very highly recomended.

will post dyno chart once dyno'd.

thanks Toshi

hi toshi,

On a standard ER 33 motor ( non turbo) what % changes in power torque fuel consumption etc can we expect.

I am sure others would like to know as well.

it seems with a turbo you have a greater option to play around and change the results

NA is around 10%.

I got my car tuned by Toshi for a second time, this time with a hi-flow r34 turbo and other supporting mods. I cannot praise how good Toshi is at what he does, we spent some time getting the tune right but the car now runs like a dream.

I took my car to Wakefield a couple of weeks back and gave it a real hard time and had no problems watsoever... there werent many cars there that overtook me on the straight

    • Ha, well, it's been.... a bit of a journey. Things have taken much longer than I'd hoped. I'll probably put up a thread at some stage. Hopefully soon. The car's not done any kms since my update in June though, put it that way.
    • Here's the chart for fuel pressure vs. current draw, assuming your base fuel pressure is 3 bar and you run like 0.5bar boost on WOT, you should only momentarily hit 9amps here and there. (Ignore my prev post, I cannot read a chart these days it seems)
    • Those comp test results are not hideous. Whether they are accurate or not (ie, when that comp tester says 140 psi, is the real pressure120, 140 or 160?) is unknown to us. The state of the battery used to crank it over is unknown, etc etc. Many people around here would say that the absolute values and the spread are perfectly fine to just add boost and keep going. I personally would be happier with a narrower spread than that, but even the diff between 125 and 145 is not terrible. That one cylinder at 125 though, has probably copped some damage relative to the others. You should inspect the valves seeing as you've got it open. Do you know how to measure installed ring gaps? That, and an inspection of the rings themselves, is how you will determine whether they need to be replaced. If you're not good to do these things, take the block and the pistons and rings to a shop that is, and ask them for the go/no-go on them. Do the bores need a hone at all? If so, you might well be justified in getting some different pistons in order to get away from the ring supply problem. Whether you're happy to spend a lot more money right now, on more gear, rather than less money, but an amount that looks stupid given that you will only get a handful of rings in exchange for that money, is for you to decide.
    • also possibly backed up to my filler and shat down it! 🤣
    • Ok so i would love some advice here please, i purchased an R33 a few months back and its had a few mods done to the engine, its an RB25det running a Master ECU, 1200cc injectors, bigger turbo, oil cooler, oil filter relocation kit, Spool H-beam rods, acl/ross pistons. When i removed the motor from the vehicle (as its getting a respray) i thought i would compression test it and these are the following results. Cylinder 1-145psi, Cylinder 2-143psi, Cylinder 3-125psi, Cylinder 4-145psi, Cylinder 5-140psi, Cylinder 6-135psi this test was done with the motor on the ground and powering up the starter motor. I dropped the sump and found broken oil squirters on cylinder 3,5 and 6. I was told my rings are probably worn so i stripped the motor completely to get a new set of rings for it. The trouble is no one has these rings anywhere and they have to be custom made by Ross over in the states and will cost about $600+$200 delivery. My question is how can i tell if my rings are at fault and if they are still ok and is this price ok for a set of rings?
