plug your ipod into your car

then listen to all your favorites :D

my f*cking ex girlfriend bought me my ipod and all the bloody songs on it remind me of her because she's the one that uploaded them onto it!?!

she's actually away on holidays interstate and we kinda broke up while she's over there so i've been getting a lot of other girlies to come ride with me so the songs remind me of them and not her...

has anybody else here have similar issues to me in regards to girlfriends and sh*t like this or am i just a freak?

yeah, i think justin timberlake's new album is pretty good too, he's quite talented but i can't listen to his sh*t because she bloody bought me a ticket to his concert then sold it to me after we broke up (one of the few times that we did) and didn't even offer to sell it to me!?!

sorry guys, had to vent about that too

she's a b*tch

oh yeah... dan, i don't think the expense of the station was too high, i just think it didn't get enough support from the governing body or something like that

Mate we all have girl problems. Trust me. I'm also going through some wacked stuff atm. Some of the story is burried in WT. Come to the strippers saturday night. I've organised a boys night. There are already quite a few coming. Strippers will make it better :D

Girls... can't live with them... can't live without them.

I got a 7" LCD DVD deck so my ipod adapter was $140 so it can recharge your ipod and play the video's and stuff on it (ipod classic). That was for a proper pioneer ipod adapter made for my deck though, not some random brand.

But if you dont have a screen deck then the cable from the back to your ipod is much cheaper.

Hehe, Ryan and I have the same deck and setup, but before that I just had one that I plug into the cigarette lighter, it was about $70 but It's great when I go on hols and can use it in the rental car.

i heard the station wasnt groovy enough.

they didnt meet their groove quota for the year.

and they had some retarded talk back hosts.

Hey Dan, bit of inside information so to speak. Last year they had trouble with the Australian Broadcasting Authority because it never played its quota of AUSTRALIAN MUSIC (all stations have an obligation to play a certain amount every certain amount of time) Clearly because half the time it just played Rap. But yes pretty sure they broke that contract again and have been shut down :)

No more groove fm! This is just another reason why Perth is such a boring sh!#hole.

Oh and while im having a whinge, Perth must have some of the most incompetent and retarded assclowns designing their roads! What the hell is the deal with taking a 2 lane major arterial road and turning it into a one lane bottleneck. Especially when the road has numerous bus stops on it!

    • Starter motors used to use the weight of metal (magnets) to provide torque. Now they use (more) current instead. This. It's completely normal.
    • So thing that had me stumped, but I think is OK....is that when it was up in the air, in neutral I had it running to bleed to coolant while I put the wheels back on. I noticed the rears were turning (slowly) which I'd never seen before 20250928_163512.mp4     Because there had been an issue with clutch slip due to pedal adjustment on the dyno, I assumed there was still and issue so spent some quality time upside down under the dash adjusting the pedal....but no matter what I did the wheels still turned in neutral. Even disconnected the master cylinder to pedal rod and same. In despair, I even removed the clutch slave so there was no chance of any preload causing it.....still happened. So either: 1. Something is not right in the bellhousing, or 2. Its a thing sometimes with cold, thick gearbox oil Internet says it might be 2, I hope so!
    • OK, few more things sorted and it is ready for a shakedown on 10-Oct, with one weird thing. Changed the run in oil and filter for the good stuff. 8l came out, about 8.5 went in with filter so that looks all good. Changed the starter (again), this time for a brand new one, works good. Interesting that the Taaaarks one is shorter than factory but spins harder, I guess electronics have moved on a little in the last 30 years. Will be nice to have a bit of extra space under there. Put the timing cover back on, and noted where the cam gears were set as a record.  Will need to double check the timing but it is pretty close. Also put the coil pack cover and intake snorkel back on. Exhaust Inlet Changed the water out for coolant, bled up nicely. Removed the rear brake pads (well worn factory sumitomo ones!), gave the hardware a good clean and reassembled. I've put bendix XP on the back again because the price is excellent at $150 a set and they worked well on the V37. Front pads have plenty so no issue there
    • Mine is all -12, I’m running a dry sump in a billet block though
