I didn't see that well I was goin the other way and just caught glimpse through traffic

Series 2 is 06 with the Projector Headlights and sightly diff tail lights.(key in reverse light on left).

was that me , i live in engadine .

I dont know if i have a series two.

Someone else saw me and said series two as well. How do i know its a 03 model ?

almost forgot...

yesterday (Tue 23rd) spotted a white V35 coupe with some sort of thick boot spoiler on spencer st just across from GTA...

didn't catch a glimpse whether it was registered - either one of you guys here, or one of Gran Turismo Auto's sale stock just parked outside.

Spotted black sedan with led spot lights (Audi style led driving lights) on Clayton Road heading towards Princes Highway today around 7:30pm.

Also spotted silver sedan on Monash freeway heading towards the city at around 8pm with optional spot lights. Number plate was XQZEME or something similar.

Sped up to catch up to it and drove next to it, but could not see inside as the windows were tinted, left the freeway on Bourke Road exit.

Anyone from here?

this morning 8:15am spotted white v35 sedan on a'beckett & elizabeth corner in melbourne cbd at the traffic light.

that's me~its my daily route after work (graveyard shift)

as I spotted so many Vs on weekend trip in Sydney:

sunday - silver coupe in Syd CBD with black euro plate ends "777"

Monday - white/silver coupe in Syd Chinatown, on Hay St or Sussex st cant remember~

Tuesday- silver coupe near DFO Homebush with exhuast mods

- not sure if the same as the one above but coupe parked on the side of road near Strathfield station

glad to finally spotted a V in melbourne that is from this forum! I think most of other ones I spotted wasn't around here... there's lots of V owners out there that probably didn't realise this forum exist....

what sedan is yours? 250/300/350GT ?

I've spotting silver coupes :P much these day in city, blinked my headlight few times but behhhhhh, no response from the other V :(

I wanna get the large "SAU" sticker arond my V but not sure if i can get it without being the VSAU "membership"

  • 4 weeks later...

White 35 just after the air port tunnel heading north past the bp last week... complemented them on their car.

I was in the red S3 v35

Seen a few silvers on the drive between the city and capt cook bridge too.

this is gonna be tough cos i've never closely examined an S2 but.....

an 05 S2 i looked at buying didnt have HID projecter lamps

the onboard comp had a different gui

the tail lights looked a little different (i tihnk the S3 has some embossed circles around the indicater and break lamps where as the others are smooth but this is a guess)

gear stick looks different (this might be a s1 vs s2/3 difference) the gear boot on my car has single leather sheathed auth stick, and doush have the crooked gate with a plastic cover in the centre console.

I think there might be more but i've never had a chance to closely compare... would be good to get a comparison done tho.

    • You can use your VIN to look up the factory part number somewhere like amayama, and then look to order new if necessary. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/nissan Depending on price you might want to rebuild instead. @GTSBoy I had an interesting insight into US market parts when the Titan rear calipers were sticking. New calipers were dirt cheap, about 20% more than a rebuild kit....they are just considered throw away maintenance items
    • Funny, but really not funny. Thank god (most) f the world has moved on since then
    • Lots of votes for driving onto a plank first; that is the quickest way I've found, 25mm is enough for my case but that will vary by car It also depends where you are going for. On the 32 I can get to the rear diff with my floor jack if I do that end first, and get it up on stands. Then I lift the front from either front tow hook as high as needed, also onto stands. Sometimes I need a small lift on the other tow hook to get it level enough If I do the front first I can't get to the rear diff because of the angle of the car Other options are getting to the front mount of the rear subframe from in front of the wheel (if only lifting one side, or just do both which is a bit of a pain compared to one lift from the diff), or also the gearbox cross member mount on the driver's side if you are  just trying to lift the driver's side. I This is the jack I use; it says 75mm clearance but of course that is only on the lower section so if you have to reach too far in like the diff you still get stuck. https://www.snapon-bluepoint.com.sg/category/Floor-Jacks/product/Floor-Jack,-2-Ton-Low-Profile
    • On the bright side, the weather will turn much nicer for working outside shortly....sounds like you might need to start on a neighbour's garden next
    • Ok so i will NEED to have this sensor anyway even with Nistune (or standalone ECU) https://justjap.com/products/genuine-nissan-boost-pressure-sensor-evap-control-system-fits-nissan-r34-skyline-c34-nm35-stagea-pnt30-x-trail-rb25det-vq25det-sr20vet?currency=AUD&srsltid=AfmBOoqfxX48bW9bEwH62orcNhtBfp7ekAL0C9Ca89ySFGUiBzXfXeze Is this the correct one? And this is only thing i need? No other "things" connected to the sensor or something? I do have the wiring.
