To all who put shell fuel in there car's.

I looked on the shell website and you can actually find out which servos have got what fuel's. You click what fuels typs you want and your postcode and it brings up lots of servos in thre area and exactle what they are selling.

Have a go!

Apart from the Shell Optimax fiasco i've never had a problem anywhere in the Western Suburbs getting any other brand of 98 from any servo at any time.

Richmond, Penrith, no 95 or 98 when we looked and none on the great western either.

I don't use 95 but for 98 you must be driving around blind or they've been filling their tanks with 91 and my pfc knock sensor isn't picking up on it.

Within 5km of me:

Caltex Glenmore Park = 98

BP Mulgoa Rd = 98

Mobil/Quix Mulgoa Rd = 98

Caltex Correen Ave = 98

BP Correen Ave = 98

Caltex Glenbrook = 98

Within 15km of me:

Mobil Blaxland = 98

BP Valley Heights = 98

Those are servo's that i've actually filled up with on 98 and that's about 1/3 of the servo's available to me that offer 98.

I'm a loyal supporter of V-Power. I normally fill at Shell Northmead. They're been out of it for months so i've been...sob..filling at a Caltex close to home...i feel like i'm doing something dirty everytime time i put it into my car :)

There are a few shell's around town with Shell V Power Racing. 100RON. Might try some of that stuff if I run out of my half a tank of BP Ultimate that's still in my tank from 2 weeks ago.

on the freeway? you're getting gyped. Mine does 12L/100km around the city, best effort on the freeway is 9.3L/100km. small price to pay for getting there in luxury I say :)

    • Hi all. So one of my major issues at the moment is my rear turbo leaking oil on the exhaust (and the general area). I presumed it was the rock hard super old drain hose, which it was not. So now I am in the midst of removing the rear turbo to get access to the banjo bolt that goes into the turbo oil feed. As one of the previous owners accidentally? tore off the OEM oil feed hardline that reaches behind the turbo, they ran braided lines directly to the turbo, presumably PTFE. Now, regardless if the line has rubber or teflon inside, is it just generally a bad idea to do this? I imagine these lines get quite hot being between the engine, turbo core and exhaust manifold. I suppose it's not too far fetched to think the line may even have melted. I'd love to hear your opinions on this as as the replacement OEM hardline piece is 130 per unit. And cutting open the currently mounted line to see inside will mean I just have to get a replacement either way. So far I am hoping maybe the bolt just loosened or (god forbid) they forgot one of the crush washers.
    • If it's a factory 20de manual probably has the 6 bolt flywheel in which case the det clutches won't work as they're 9 bolt.
    • All RB push clutches are interchangeable. AFAIK, the 4cyl ones are not. Different flywheels. The RB small box is not identical to the 4cyl boxes. Just very similar.
    • Hi. I need a new clutch for my gearbox. It is a factory smallbox behind RB20DE NEO. What options do i have? If iam not mistaken the gearbox should be the same as in R32 GTST and Nissan S14/S15? I found some Xtreme Clutch Stage 1 for S14/S14 (i dont know if you know the brand) (UK) OR...is the clutch same as in the bigbox from RB25DET?   Thank you!
