Can Engine From Track Only Car Be Used In Road Car?

If you cant, then it would be the first Ive heard..... I cant see anything wrong with that in your state, definitely is OK here in Tas. Its purely the chassis itself that cant be registered, any other parts you can swap over into your vehicle as they wouldnt know, and the engine itself should be ok if you inform them of the new engine number in your car.

Hey guys,

Can I use the engine from a R32 GTR that was imported for track use only and register it my road car? I'm in Brisbane, just in case the rules are different for the states.

dont quote me on this but think if it meets emissions it a-ok

i think your on the money, parts are parts, its the chassis that cannot be road registered.
