yes they are definately the same as something common in aus (and not the same as skyline, they are smaller)

nissan had them on the shelf when i needed them

part number is 43222-50J00

what do you mean smaller duncan. i belive most nissan's are m12x1.25 pitch do you mean shorter?

if thats the case pehaps skyline ones would be better with some after market wheels? might stop them stripping (mine stripped two on the rear right i blame shoty tyre shops and wheel spacers)

Edited by petrolfix

no they are still m12x1.25. they have a smaller diameter and length where they go through the hub. definately not as strong as the skyline ones I have broken 2 as well.

but yes if you have spacers you really should run longer wheel studs. Once you know what car they match eg pulsar you will probably be able to find aftermarket longer ones. there are standard and long aftermarket ones for skylines out there.

Compatibility with common vehicles in Aus follows:

The 50J00 part is common across R32/33/34, RS13/S14, Z32, U13 & A31

The 28B10 part is common across R33/34

Duncan, it's interesting that you state that the 50J00 part is different to the Skyline - FAST shows them as relevant from the lowliest RB20E powered cars right up to, & including the GT-R...

Yeah good call I just checked it in FAST and saw the same GTR32 and stagea are same part # front and rear. Maybe I was just trying to fit front vs rear studs.

So the rear is common between stageas and skylines, and the front is shared with a whole heap of other stuff including u13 pulsar. good work with fast btw I've got no idea how to pull up the other models that use the same part, that would be very handy.

    • Sorry to hear your HFM BM57 was faulty,  did you contact HFM I would hope they would be at least grateful for the information if there was some sort of manufacturing fault, you would hope they would be sympathetic even if your item was 2 years old if it had never been fitted. May I ask where it leaked from ?
    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
