The most common offsets for those sizes are +22 front and rear. However if you are lowered and how far will also play a part in how agressive you can go with the offset.

I've also seen front offsets go into the high teens, but by far +22 is the most common.

I'm currently running +24 F and +28 rear on the sizes you mentioned and to they look fine, and i have no rubbing issues at all. The car i slightly lowered with Nismo springs and shocks.

Good time for a pic :D

With the right tyre profile you can go lower.

People run 9.5 / 10.5 with +22 offsets for the wheels in the stock guards. If you're running an inch narrower wheels, you can afford to drop 5mm off those offsets and still be safe.

Thanks, the wheels Im getting are 19.8.5 F. and 19.9.5 R. offsets for front are 22,30,38,45. The rear offsets are 30,38,45, only. Do you know what the best combo would be. Thanks very much for help. G.T.

Hey mate,

Tyres are

F 245/40/19

R 275/35/19

The drop I have is very subtle, probably about the same as what you would get from 350z springs. I lowered my last one on 350z tein H-techs and was very happy with the drop, a bit more than the pic I have but it did scrape on the odd driveway.

However the NISMO package is a massive step forward compared to stock. I've driven a stock coupe around a track, and my current one which as NISMO springs/shocks and sways and it's like night and day.

Hey nismo, you say you are running 245/40/19 F, is the rolling Dia larger than STD, I thought 245/35/19 would have been the correct size for the front, was there a reason for the larger Dia Tyre, just curious, Thanks mate G.T.

Hey mate,

Yep it is slightly larger than standard, but I did a bit of reasearch and the sizes I have (front and rear) work fine together and don't effect teh VCD in any way.

I didn't specifically look for these but when my rims came in from Japan, the tyres were removed. And the guy who brought them in only had these in his workshop and offered them to me at no extra cost. The tyre's are Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 which are around $900 each so i would have been crazy to not take them. :-)

    • Hello, Has anyone experienced their signal light being constantly on when parking or headlights are on?   I'm putting my car back together after painting. I didn't pull out the hole chassis harness. I hooked up the chassis harness in the bay along with semi-installing a new ecu harness.   I put power to the car today to play some musicand check on thing while I worked. I noticed when I put on the parking lights that the left rear signal was constantly on. I thought for whatever reason. All the signal light needed to be install. The rear left signal did turn off after all the other signal bulbs where installed, but now the other 4 are lit. The left 2 are brighter than the right. I noticed that if u pull out the front left bulb them the left rear turns back on. Strange. Hazards work fine. Activating the signal from the stalk works. I unplugged the signal stalk power to see if that may have been the issue. Removed the fuse for the signals and they stay on constant but not blink.   I have LED 194/T10 bulbs. They're not switchback. Things worked as normal before I took thing apart and painted. The only new things I wired were two removed leads to my fuel pump relays.   Could it be the stalks? I bumped them plenty while working. Just from today I assessed them good and no flickering from contact on so it's hard to say it's the stalks.   The issue somewhere in the chassis harness?
    • You need the fuel pressure gauge reading when the car is running and on boost. Revving it stationary doesn't tell you much. Get a wideband O2 installed, or borrow a portable one. Will show very valuable data.
    • Unfortunately I kept blowing the rear twin up
    • I'm thinking this but when I checked the fuel tank the fuel strainer under the pump was as clean as new. I do have a new fuel filter I'm going to replace that hose and filter just to be safe because maybe something did get through the strainer but I'm also going to attempt at some point next weekend to get the remaining fuel out and fill it up with some high quality fuel.
