I'm bagging R33's in particular, they don't really have anything going for them other than the RB25 imo, you can't even give one away pretty much these days!

I do drive a Skyline and love it, that doesn't have to mean I've got to like every single model, you'd also find I'm not the only person who dislikes them on this forum.

Do u mean RB26?

Unlike the ultra rare and and super sexy r32 gtst :)

Lmao at the elitist r32 drivers.

Each to their own if you prefer the 80's looks of the r32 over the more modern car.. furry muff good for you!

the 80's soarer is 80's lookin... square box

r32 is far from a box and is a 90's lookin car just like the r33.. just the r33's are fatter (which can be a good thing)

performance wise, r33 owns r32, but everyones got one.. there are alot more r33s than r32s and thats just life.

who cares

KE70's thou.... those fkn things rock! lol

R33s r poo and just as the dude said, common as dog shit.

Eh? Do you simply not like them because they're common? If that's the whole reason you dislike them then you probably shouldn't be driving a Skyline at all, it's not as though the 32's are rare or anything. Besides, it all depends where you live. I'm on the Mornington Peninsula and drive at least an hour a day, and I'm lucky if I see two all week.

IMO they're the best looking of the three, especially the GTR.

Why bother with the insults in the first place if you don't care?

Designed in the 80's, built in the 80's and for me it looks from the 80's with it's typical "3 box design" roll down bonnet like most other cars from the mid to late 80's, interior, ect, ect..

If you like the r32 good on you, It's my favourite 80's style car even if they're starting to look dated ...

Saying r33's are POO in this forum...Disrespectful? Just agitating shit for giggles?

Back on topic I hate those turbo diesel 4x4 with bonnet scoops or mini letter boxes, I know most have a little i.c hiding underneath but they just look so "wannabe" to me.

Whoo!! :woot:

True 80s styling in the KE70s. Looks like it was designed with a ruler being the only tool!

I hate cars who have exhausts that sound like the car's farting.

    • HELP   Hey all, Is there an accelerator cable from another Nissan that can be used on the R33 GTST RB25DET with a Greddy forward facing plenum?  Thanks in advance  Rob
    • Or do we think it was installed to give 1 bar of boost max, all day, everyday?
    • So could it be assumed it has been installed intentionally with potentially a power FC boost controller kit?
    • Had my rig on Matt's dyno at PITS the other day. After a few years between tunes I added a few sensors and swapped intercoolers. Result. 553hp at 26psi. Not bad for an FJ20 that was built in 2007. The problem.. It filled the overflow bottle on hard runs which leads me to believe the head gasket isn't sealing. I have a coolant pressure sensor which was reading cap pressure at 22psi and occasionally overrunning to 23/24 psi on deceleration after a pull. It was not spiking. It has arp2000 head studs and a cometic gasket. As its been 18 years in service, I pulled the engine out and head off. Everything looks good but we obviously have an issue. Where I'm at.. Years ago I had the same issue, I checked the stud tension and they were all over the place. Some at 60 to 70 and some up near 90. I nipped them all to 100ft lbs and this stopped the water push until now. I believe this compromised the gasket back then. What do I do? 2 options are..  1) I bought arp 625+s, which I could put in with a new gasket. Thinking Kameari this time, reassemble and try again. 2) strip the block, get fire rings machined in with copper gasket and try that. I do not want to push it more than 28 to 30psi. I think the turbo will be out by then anyway. (G30-770). My other concern is the long term ability of a copper head gasket. Are they streetable for years? I feel like a new gasket with the new studs will probably suffice, but I don't know. Any thoughts welcome and advice on copper gaskets and fire rings. Thanks!
    • I'm a fan of the JZX110, and the Aristo. Big cruiser cars, and with the factory cars, super comfortable and feel like you're driving an armchair! And the JZ motors are a pretty nice engine too, especially with some basic mods.   The import process, and the need to be able to trust people, and the fact there's so many scammers around is what ever puts me off wanting to go through that ordeal!
