Why are you defending yourself to a fu*kstick who only has 5 posts and is obviously here to start a shit fight?

Outlaw, you need to make some usefull posts before you start bitching about 'ricers'.

Bad day today, sorry :P

Your joking right? I'm not even going to bite but nice troll.

agree on some points like over the top mods.. or every man woman and child with shit cars putting canons on every car they get..

but other mods are for show and personal style.. like saying why do these muscle car ppl get all this power in the car.. update it to the shit.. when the speed limit is only 60 to 110ks.. and most never go track.. so yeah every one is individual.. so dont worry about it

A bit of "RICE" with performance to back it all up isn't that bad... but to answer your question, some people RICE to their cars to make it look fast but really they got nothing, e.g. most Lancers, Civics and Echo's etc.

Instead of laughing at them, I feel sorry for them... some people can't afford to have an all-out beast, you know?

All to their own... In the end, it's all about cars, our passion, what we love, how we choose to express our individuality and our perception on how a car should be.

Personally, I'm with GUN_METAL_GTR32... I like a car for the way it has been designed, straight from the factory. I've never bothered with bodykits. For me, it's what's under the bonnet that counts, the sleeper look and it get them everytime!

I mean, if you don't like the way the car looks from the factory and go through all the costs of modifying the look of it, why did you buy it in the first place??

Like you said, each to their own - but I personally can't drive a stock car - at least a bodykit, exhaust and some ICE inside... but I agree with you, too much RICE can ruin the way the car was intended to look/perform.

What would you consider too much rice? Fake evo vortex generators on a skyline? hehe

This image here made me cry. Some woman selling her r34 which i think she COMPLETELY destroyed... worst

erm

that some woman is a friend of mine.

Her car is always featured at autosalon. Looks awesome in real life.

just because you dont approve, it does not mean the rest of the world disapproves with you. Each to their own mate.

Strong hypocrite. Where in my post did i mention anything about the world agreeing with me, its my opinion. Don't get mad because she is your friend.

I am not taking sides - but the above picture of that R34 doesn't look very nice at all.

I don't particularly like the Altezza lights - but the rest is pretty standard... bodykit, rims, some stickers... it is riced, but not that much... just my comments.

hahahah.... the definition of rice appears to be different to all.

He's right? So I'm a fu*kstick who's only here to start a shit fight and needs to post more before daring to question the motives of ricers?

Thanks man! You don't come off as a tosser at all btw…

So why dont you just ask one of the so called 'ricers' directly? Ask someone with altezzas on their car or someone with huge rims or someone with brand name logos all down their doors why they do it? I just hate haters. Rice to you may not be for others. My last car was an MR2 with 2 tone paint and 20's. Why? 'Coz i wanted too. I liked looking at my car like that and most other mr2 owners thought i slaughtered it. At the end of the day, it was my car and i paid for it, ill do whatever i want to it. Next time you see someone with a car which looks like rice to you, pull them over and let them know, then ask them why.

And yes, with only a handful of posts, starting a 'ricer' thread which has been done many times before that you could have searched for your answer, it does look like your one of those people that just signed up to start shit. Please prove me wrong.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
