  • 2 weeks later...

hi all

sorry about very late update because I just got the gtr check (e.g. Checking Gear box checking the clutch and etc.)and done the full service on it

We put the new standard clutch on so thats why it took so long for all the thing hopefully I can update everything by friday night and with all the thing that I've done to the car I think 49500 is already very cheap price for the R34 1999.

The car condition I think is excellent do not expect so much about the paint job on it

Why the change back to standard clutch?

And why more changes after you've advertised?

What was the figure on dyno that you had organised?

No response to mobile or PM..

hey i saw ur car the other day.. i was at re custom and saw it was choking on black smoke..wuts wrong with it? blown turbos? blown head gasket?

the paint looks ok, but theres blotches on the right hand side, rear windscreen has been replaced and seals is aftermarket.

right door doesn't close wen left ajar..

any accident history? probly..

tracked ur car?probly.. :)

how much it gona cost to fix?

Is there finance on the car?

Has it been impounded since u've owned it?

mayb my offer was a lil bit low.. :P

since u've taken out some bits and pieces and got it serviced again how does $46800 sound

y don't u pick up ur fone?

i might have to go looking for another R34 then.. :):):down::down:

Well if you see this happen then I dont think you should buy this car and if you know so much about this car why dont you ask people about it in re customs and see if anywrong with it, I remember i went to overseas about 3 months already and the last time this car run is at mt baw baw at s2k meeting then this car was park at motorware with my s2k.

p.s. if you wanted to buy this car I think I will let you have a test drive it for sure and if you see anything wrong you can tell me huh expert? because im 100% sure theres nothing wrong with the car so if you dont really own the car how can you know more than the owner of the car so next time if you want to comment something like this I think you should go think about it first

if the car is no good for sell then I wouldnt sell it because I'm not one of those cheap people out there sorry to say that but I'm not one of them about for the mobile I've got alot of business to run, in that case I'm really sorry because the car is not ready for test drive so I cant really make any arrangement to test the car.

p.s. when this car is done will you meet me at the place that this car is being tune in I wanted to see that if you're really going to buy it because I dont really want to waste my time.

I'm not trying to accuse you of selling a bad car.. I'm just trying to ask questions that even you or any other buyer would be interested in knowing the answers to when searching for a car to buy.

It's unfortunate though that the only question I've had answered was "is the car still for sale" and that any time I try to contact you (if you even read my few SMS msgs to you) to ask to see the car at your tuning shop, I haven't had any reply.

p.s. when this car is done will you meet me at the place that this car is being tune in

I don't see why you say "when this car is done will you meet me". What are you "doing" to it after advertising and also after you just completed a full service? Those are the answers I'm trying to get to help me decide since it's so hard to get in contact with you! Believe me, your car isn't the only one out there and there have been far more helpful and informative sellers out there who give the full story (even if it's not a pretty one) but then it's up to the potential buyer's decision from then on of what they do.

I wanted to see that if you're really going to buy it because I dont really want to waste my time.

I've had my fair share of time wasters as well. I sold my car and handed the keys over on Thursday night so have been through the same hassles.. but anyone who enquired.. I would still get back to them.

And to reiterate my earlier questions in hope of answers:

A mobile phone being listed as a contact option indicates to me that enquiries should be directed that way. Any kind of reply now would be helpful.

When do you think your car will be "done"? I've already organised an inspection on another GTR while waiting for your response.

A tip for in future, if you choose to take this on board or not.. the only way to see if someone is a time waster is to at leat give them the benefit of the doubt in first instance.. otherwise you'll be pushing away every potential buyer.

Good luck to the next person interested in your car.

    • What 1.5 way? There's no such thing really as a 1.5 way, just different ways of explaining 2 ways with different ramp rates. HOWEVER. In any driving in a straight line your 1.5 or 2 or 1.7 way should have no clunking at all. With the clutch fully depressed the diff should be silent (unless it's welded but I'm assuming it's not). Something aint right here.
    • Clutch is a spec brand, new clutch system,( PP, flywheel, friction disc, etc. pull type) installed 100 miles ago, with no problems.
    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
