I've been looking at that guide in the nissan manual, which has led me to ask these questions as i figured from what i read there are many different combinations needed. as the numbers/letters vairy on the crank and on the block.

its going to be a job left up to my engine builder :P

and i ordered all my Arp parts.. but nothing has come off the cc, or there is no contact in america from the guys. they are in what i can figure out Minneapolis. i dont think thats anywhere down south where all the problems just were..

Mate I have a decent amount of nismo bearings in stock in several different grades if you know what grades you need and decide to go with nismo instread of aftermarket send me a pm with the grades you need and there is probably a good chance that i will have them.

We packed a lunch on Saturday and trecked down to Just Jap to raid their warehouse. As usual Steve had everything we could think of and at excellent prices. This is the booty....

so.....lets see how good you guys are. the person to identify the most parts wins glory within this thread.

We put all of the front end stuff on except the sway bar links. and now the 17in wheels dont fit any more.

we also mounted up the oil filter relocator, oil cooler and found an interesting spot for the power steering cooler.

Yeah, I noticed the remote canisters. Are they D2's?

I spy with my little eye...

Oil adaptor

Coilovers

Castor rods

Front and rear camber arms

Rear LCA's

Silicon radiator hoses

Radiator

Swaybar

D2 (355mm?) brakes

Thermostat

Some sort of energy polarizer, though could be a flux capacitor

A little more work and a few more pictures.

A bit of milling on the dogbones and 356 mm brakes fit under 17" wheels! There's about 2mm to spare on both sides, but they fit!

Some tabs added to the intercooler/flux capacitor and the surge tank. Also some plates made to cover the surge tank and fuel pumps in the rear quarter and plates for mounting the radiator and to cover the hole left by the brake booster.

Last but not least, our new NOS tank!

There's something to be said for a 2-pac baked on paint job. The red on this car is coming off just looking at it the wrong way.

Before we put too much back, should we look at baking the current paint job in a booth?

    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
    • Nice car! I’m glad folks in the US have gotten past the FnF and are buying real cool cars like the 260RS I was with a bunch of mates in Portland about a year ago and spotted a green Stagea (just a regular 2.5T AWD) parked about 2 blocks away and they were like “a what?” So I made a bet with them for a round of beers and said “ok one of you run down there and tell me if the steering wheel is on the correct side” 5 mins later the American comes trudging back up the hill and goes “he’s right guys. Ok what beer do you want?”
    • Should replace OR drop the tank, give it's good clean. Might be worth replacing that entire fuel level/pump/cradle thing with this: https://frenchysperformancegarage.com/products/fpg-s13-180sx-r32gtst-single-pump-hanger-kit-billet-hat-6-v3-fpg-089?gQT=2
