what do they mean by FACE 2

I've never really known what this meant to be honest, but looking at the Rays wheels website, the Face 1's come in 4 stud and 5 stud patterns whereas the Face 2 only came in 5x114.3. They both have different offsets and widths available too.

I've got no idea though, first thought it was to do with the brake clearance of the face, but they both can be made to clear the large calipers.

cool!

wat about deep dish on the rear??????

how much???

SAU has quite a few traders who would get these wheels in brand new for you. Best to PM some of them for a price, but you'll be looking at $3k+ as far as I know. GT-C's aren't the cheapest wheels around.

The amount of dish a wheel has will depend on the width, offset and face style. Made to clear larger calipers, less dish and vice versa.

If you're asking how much the above wheels have, no idea..

Well since i have these wheels i can clear up the Face 1/2 thing. Its the spokes on the wheels, Face 1 have flat spokes that are pretty much vertical with the wheel, and Face 2 have a bit of a curve to the spokes so it kind of flares out (or is it the other way around...lol). Hope that makes sense....

What size/offset do you have and what mods were done to fit if any?

Not sure if you will have to do this but i did and it was a pain in the f***ing ass! My wheel studs weren't long enough to fit the GTC's, you could only do one turn of the wheel nuts. So had to knock them all out and put in longer ones and them grind them down a little bit so they weren't too long.....Look into that to see if you have to change to longer wheel studs.

Can't remember my offsets, but they are 18x8 and 18x9 and fit fine. with no guard rolling etc.

Finally found a "more" suitable set. 19 x 8.5 +5 dish 80mm front and 19 x 9.5 +12 dish 86mm rear. I also put a deposit down. Supplier assured that i need rolled guards 5-10mm but nothing too major. Im abit uneasy the more i look at the offsets though. Any insight as to what im in for? Any help muc appreciated

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
