Damnit we were supposed to buy a new couch over the weekend but looks like that money has to go on a new windscreen.

James - I hope things got sorted, sorry they had the wrong belt. I hope you will be ready for Texi in August.

Had a great day with plenty of track time. Ended up using a whole tank of fuel, which is quite an effort in my car.

Thanks to the organisers for a well run event even though Corinne did tease my SR20 :laugh: .

We should try and do this more often.

Lol! After calling out your name for 5 minutes I thought it was the only call that would get your attention and it worked!

Thanks for the laps.. I had fun!

Thanks heaps to all who organised and helped out to make this event happen - what a great day.

Although it didnt really end well for me with a damaged turbo, clutch and water pump (see attached pics) I had an awesome time out there.

I want to see more pics though...

Here's another video from group 4.. Chasing Jess around while she stalked a white 33GTR and a grey 34GTT. Jess looking very 'happy' around some of those corners! :)

What turbo was it?

Time to go GTRS :)

Garrett GT30/71R, Im going to get it re-built because I love the response I get out of it...

In the early sessions I could put my foot flat in third out of turn ten and I would have 18psi in the manifold almost instantly, great for getting a really quick corner exit. :)

Im not sure where the Im going to get the cash from though :)

Oh awesome Vid Jon..But I dont think that is me :) That's Jay the other white GTR cause I never saw that R34 on the track..but I heard Jay mention it :)

Jay and I where both getting happy on those ripple strips up the top :)

Aww really? Ah yeah, after looking at the full resolution video again it looks like the number plate is SIG-80E or something like that.. Oops! :)

Yeah not sure if i'm a fan of the new ripple strips... :)

did those cable ties hold up??

I like the big ripple strips I got pretty airborne up the top when I was chasing Boz :(

What happened to the r31?

I think it was on its last legs..But pretty sure the owner wanted it to die cause he has a better motor to go in it ;)

      Just back on what was raised about jacking off the the tow/tie down point on the front of cars. I've used it plenty. I've also watched it on a car where you could see it move the front end of the car. It was like the front end/whole car being tweaked and twisted a bit. I will say, I struggle to find good jacking points on MOST cars. The ones that have good points, I then normally struggle to find a jack tall enough to make the car change height!   One of my go to points for either the jack, or the axel stands though, is either a suspension pickup point, OR a subframe to chassis major bolting point. I actually think its the subframe on my R33 that has a bit of a bend in it, from being jacked in the middle too. However, it could have been one of my many other cars I've had over the years! Or it could also be the from me jacking it up, and the fact the top of the front radiator support isn't there, so it can allow the front of the car to move and bend etc.

      Nope, I don't like the look of ND RF, or any ND really, I don't like their faces or arses, why, because of their "modern" lines, the NC, whilst "modernish" has a more rounded shape that I like Well, that's how my overly judgemental eyes see it anyway

      Should be more than fine, especially the overall fuel pressure would never exceed 3.5bar (assuming that thing never gets more than 0.5bar of boost in stock form). According to the chart, it's 11amps.
