if you want to do it properly, ring round some workshops and get a quote to do; timing belt, tensioner bearing, idler bearing, bottom air con pulley bearing, water pump and cam seals! then normal stuff like belts etc. Worth fitting an adjustable cam gear while its all apart if you have future plans for the car too. hope this helps

AMEC - Can you give a breif listing of what is included in your 100k services for $953

sure

our R33 GTST 100K service includes:

Idler & Tension Bearing

Tensioner Spring

Cam Seals & Front Main Seal

Genuine Nissan Timing Belt

Genuine Nissan Water Pump

Labour and Fluids

Kudos Motorsports offer a few 100 000km service packages (3 I believe) for the R33. So if you wanna purchase parts and find somebody to install here are the links to all 3 packages by Kudos.

Kudos Basic Kit

Kudos HD Kit

Kudos HD+ Kit

Cheers.

hey Amec, just outta curiosity, i have a 34 gtt and im comin up to my 100k service too, would the cost be the same for my car since it too is an RB25DET? also, is it possible for you to guess how much extra it would cost to get a rocker cover gasket fixed at the same time? hoping to save on a bit of labour doing it then.

Ill also make sure i shoot a call ur way too ECC

yep 100K service will be the same price $953 including parts and labour

will do the rocker cover gasket for $85 + cost of the gasket.

rush - same price champ

wont get in price wars on forums or anything as it is not very professional or ethical , so give me a call if you want labour quote on the r/c gasket :P

Good call, this forum eats up and spits out workshops that try to get work off of here.

Do some searchs on workshops that have tried to help members in the past, most of them have moved on from here never to return.

You will be the flavour of the month while you are giving them forum member discounts, then another shop will undercut you to get the work and BOOM you were a rip-off and you will get bagged and dumped.

Not all members of this forum are users and abusers, but a few bad apples as they.

With AMEC, not only will you get good service and value, but we also have the unique claim where the mananger regularly competes in circuit racing and has won the Queesnland Raceway sprint series in a race car built by our workshop. All on the same VG30DETT motor we built back in Feb 2006 and she is still going strong @ 24 psi.

    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
    • Nice car! I’m glad folks in the US have gotten past the FnF and are buying real cool cars like the 260RS I was with a bunch of mates in Portland about a year ago and spotted a green Stagea (just a regular 2.5T AWD) parked about 2 blocks away and they were like “a what?” So I made a bet with them for a round of beers and said “ok one of you run down there and tell me if the steering wheel is on the correct side” 5 mins later the American comes trudging back up the hill and goes “he’s right guys. Ok what beer do you want?”
    • Should replace OR drop the tank, give it's good clean. Might be worth replacing that entire fuel level/pump/cradle thing with this: https://frenchysperformancegarage.com/products/fpg-s13-180sx-r32gtst-single-pump-hanger-kit-billet-hat-6-v3-fpg-089?gQT=2
