I would rather eat a fresh dog shit than run a 33. :P

See you friday Savman, lets see if you still call me a homo then? Atomic wedgie for you.

Nick, I'll keep it in mind. I'm struggling with the idea of it at the moment.

Yeah they are Andrew.

A couple have been run before. No one having a real crack though. There's no reason why a 33 wouldn't be good, but personally I have doubts over the 25's ability to run six days with a sik amount of knock and ping like my 20 did :P

All this talk about S6/7/8 RX7's, I really didn't like the pedal arrangement, felt cramped and very offset. plus i think from memory the wheel wasn't central to the seat or something? Uncomfortable anyway.

Lets talk FWD... Lol! I reckon Snowman should get back to the idea of a Scirocco or Gti-R Golf or something.

Fact of the matter Damo is they aren't going to move the categories again while certain rear engine $6 figure cars are winning so comfortably, So I can't see the R32 being a "classic" until atleast 2025. By that time either none of us will be Tarmac rallying and therefore not give a shit, the world will run out of oil and we will all be racing in retro hybrids/electrics, or between you, savman, Benny and Roy you will own the last remaining GTSt's in the world and be running your own one make series.

Go figure :P

I wish I knew that...I wouldve kept my high flow and stuff and built the car around that...I guess standard turbos are cheap and easy to fit.

But yeah It would need decent internals in the 25...and not a dirty 30 that im building...might keep the 25 for a rainy day and have a read through the regs.

you'd need to do a heap of oil control mods to keep oil out of the cam covers and catch cans too.

Funny how the R33 is a better car, but no one wants to be seen racing in one

Cos they are the Commodores of skylines, every wanker with a UNIT hat drives one

The 32 GTS-t can hold it's head up and compete in the Early Modern category.

Can you imagine how much different it would have been this year if I was back there with the Plough?

That's right lads, if I hadn't of crashed or broken it, and had somehow retained the world's best navigator, I would have smacked you senseless. :P

I would rather a wart on my dick than an MR2. Every time I've come across one on a stage it's either spinning like a top or already backwards into a tree.

Stick to ya roots Roy.... front engine, rears wheels drives.

RB25 definitely harder to keep alive than a RB20... I should know I had to rebuild my old one twice... good cars if you can get over the whole 33 'stigma'

plenty of bad 32s around too... and don't even get me started on 34 drivers;)

Im on my 3rd one in 3 years....so far a 200 dollar stocky bottom end is doing better than my (and I use the term loosly) "built one"

yeah I 'built' one too... cheaply... didn't end well... actually it didn't start well either, had piston slap from day 1 and ended up spinning a bearing while at the top of 3rd at sandown... lasted a while though... maybe it wasn't a good idea to run the stock ecu with speed cut and instead of shifting to 5th at the end of the straight just leaving it in 4th and banging it off the limiter few times.......... oh and oil coolers are for pussies........ ahhh good times

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
