why is this silly website trying to charge me double the postage. it wants me to pay $31.85 postage. please explain

Hey, thats my silly website :P

It's because the shipping price was set without us confirming it. However as the group buy thread had already been going a short time I didn't want to change the pricing, instead we have absorbed the shipping prices and charged a flat rate. As stated in an earlier post, select direct deposit and it should get around the issue. PM me if you are still having dramas.

For anybody who missed the group buy, as long as your payment is in by the end of this month you will get the discounted price.

I'm surprised no one has asked to see a multi profile view of the item, it's very hard to judge how the unit looks when installed from the limited pictures shown.

Johnbarry88 has more pictures if you interested.

are these ready to be shipped out? or are they still being made?

We are waiting on all payments which are due by Sunday before we order. From memory there hasn't been many pay or create their order through our site, so if this is to go ahead we will need everyone who showed interest to make payment and create their order now.

And if that doesn't happen, what DOES happen?

The price will just go back to $89.

As Sniper Racing is making the actual product there is no question as to if these will be made or not. However as the cheaper price was available through a bulk order and us receiving a discount that we could pass on.

is this group but over or am i able to still quickly jump in for a R33 GTR one?

If you purchase this week I can fit you in. I assume it would fit a GTR fine as the rear pods don't interfere with the Exhaust cut-out? You might want to confirm this though.

Will this fit on 4-door R33 Gts-t if so i would like one also when you can.

Unsure. Maybe johnbarry88 might be able to confirm as he has the prototype.

OK I have been looking over the orders and to date I have only had 6 people place orders. I'm willing to extend this another week so that those already paid don't have to pay the extra. For all of those who showed interest and haven't paid please do so ASAP as putting your name down when you aren't serious wrecks it for others.

(Sorry if using first names offends anyone, but I can't match your forum nick)

1. Steven

2. Dan

3. Lee

4. Jon

5. Adrian

6. Damien

If your name is not here and you believe you have placed an order please PM me.

ne news on 32 ones?

No, and we aren't going to be pushing it either since we had less than half of those people who put their name down on the last group buy to those who actually placed an order.

OK I want the part, have the cash, but I'm not spending money on an item that won't fit correctly. I need confirmation that this will fit a GTR before I purchase.

    • Wife wanted basket things in the wardrobe in our temporary house. Thought about ripping our the wardrobe and fitting the entire IKEA set, but it's a temporary house and we want to move in a few years. So IKEA advertises this as a 50cm unit, however the actually basket and rails measure 46cm wide. Only issue was depth, IKEA stuff is quite deep, where as the builder special junk is super shallow at less than 40cm. Send it, chopped the rails, then offset the mounting holes, job done, happy wife, less shit scattered all over the bedroom. Did the same to the other side too. Also drove the Skyline shit box today, dropped off oil at Supercheap Auto. I didn't realise they only now take max 2x bottles per visit. I visited 2x Supercheap Autos.
    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
