so cmon guys - come out and give it a go. We need more people. Everyone needs to have blood at some point in their lives - YOU MAY BE SAVING A LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please, we need more members to commit - who else is game?

Oh, and Shaun - you did fine buddy - I was exactly the same the first time - it is a bit scary and after you can go a bit pale. It is all part of the fun. you will find if you force yourself to drink like 2 litres of water Saturday morning before you go down, and have an iced coffee/apple juice when you get there and when you finish too, you will be 100% no problem.

Also remember kids, we will be cruising down to Autosalon afterward if you are keen - SAU cruise to Autosalon - you heard right!!!!

i would love to but i gotta wait another month or so! i got fkn done by a needle but straight away i got tested and it showed up negative and now i just gotta wait a while and get tested again to see if it surfaces! doctor said it's less likely i caught anything but rather be safe than sorry! stupid fkn junkies

but i will donate on the next one if i'm clear of anything!

    • I'll get one of these also just for giggles
    • I bought 6 new spark plugs to compare readings. They will be here tomorrow and ill see if meter is far off if it all. I know one is at least reading 0 so its best replace all anyway if one is bad, from experience. I still have to test the harness just to be sure its not a double issue and I waste my time haha-the old plugs are iridium I always thought those lasted more than 50,000 km.
    • If you take the top half of the intake off you can unbolt the flap off the shaft and leave the shaft in there blocking the hole. Then you can remove the little vacuum canister off from under the manifold and get a spare vacuum line to run to the ECU. I can take some photos of it later. Probably best to get the vacuum source to the ECU sorted first though. Mine all worked mint with the base map from the GTT an I've pretty much let the closed loop sort the fueling and took 1 degree out of the whole timing map.
    • This IS something you also have to configure in Haltech (or at least I did in the past when going from onboard-to-ECU map sensor and an external MAP sensor in haltech land).
    • I'm hoping it's something as simple as the ECU is looking for an external MAP sensor, but he is trying to use the onboard MAP sensor.
