Someone tried to start my car while it was running, but I'll say my car was quieter as I have a stock 2.5" exhaust :)

Went from 145.5 kWs to 157.2 kWs. All I changed was the oil I use and type of oil filter :S

hehe.. As I said.. everything else on my car is stock... including the cat-back ;o)

from 178kw (intercooler only)

to

192kw with

-intercooler

-pod filter

-turbo back exhaust

-PFC

-Tune

10psi both times

BLAH! should have kept the car quiet :D

Wowser! :)

So for 10rwkw more than I have, it cost you somewhere around 3K? There must be something not quite right with the tune perhaps? I would have thought that kind of setup would get easily 200rwkw?

Thanks for sharing though, it's nice to see what setups do what results. =-D

highest power was?

If only you had found Daves keys, you would have won easily!

Thanks Eric for taking me for a spin around the block. The Types S coilovers took the bumps better than i thought.

Rocked up... Met a bloke in a Black R33 with some saucy chicks.. Had chrome 19"s I think. Nice.. Girls and Car

I was in the R34 Black with white rims and custom Yellow plates.. Nice to meet you.

Pitty I couldnt stick around, when will the next be?

Nathaniel

Jaye

You too mate :)

I have to admit that mine was runing 10 psi when it made the 178, but I have no boost controller so I consider it standard :P

Zilch I see you went the bayside blue route!! Saw your car, no you, then doof with keys in hand!!! You sir are braver than I!!! BUuuut awesome that it is finally back on the rd!!!

hahaha... I was uber careful :) treated it better then I treat my own... the surprise with the thermo fans was a bit shit early on :P Other then that, all good :)

14 KW!

Kinda shit honestly... I liked having a quiet car, I thought the exhaust would be restricting the crap out of it, I spose it really wasn't... The ECU did make a HUGE difference in driveability though, I would definately recomment that :)

Hopefully a much needed oil change will push it up a bit :)

Wowser!

10psi wouldn't really gain much more with ECU or not.

needs more boost to get over 200rwkw

Well I could put the VG30 turbo on, but someone was interested in buying it, and with an RB20, he would get way more out of it then me...

So I spose I might as well buy a boost controller finally

lol Nath. one is my missus and the other is my m8s fiancee. sorry m8. lol.

Doof u didnt tell me ur runnin 10psi... cheatin... :D lol

hopefully ill b gettin intercooler soon and boost controller so i can squeeze a lil more outta the near stock

and to share mods with results...

R33 GTST S1 1994 Model with near 190000km on the clock,

- catback twin 2 1/2" exhaust

- K&N pod

- Dual stage bypass trick from DIY forum

- BOV (dont think it makes a difference but still)

ONLY 142.3kw ATW

Doof you have to be the only bloke I always miss..

maybe im just bein soft and dont wanna stuff anythin

Jaye I used to run 14psi on a night out and 11psi for daily driving.. Compared to what it has become it was greaT on fuel..

you could run 13psi no worries.. got a r34 turbo if u wanna highflow it .

    • ok so if i wanted to go 18's i would go for 8's  in front 30+ or 32+ off set at front and the back 9 would be ok? what offset should i aim for.. then can i do some  hunting for wheel rim choices..
    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
