I like to go out for a hit of golf every so often and thought that we could try and organise a golf day.

I thought we could play ambrose or best ball with our own set of rules or something to make it a little more fun for everyone.

Let me know what you think, of course we will try and do this in the better weather.

I'm a real golf hack and haven't played for a looooong time but I'd be keen for a scrap when the weather is better.

Because it's been so long, prolly need to start off at the Patawolonga North Course (2.5 hrs) as opposed to North Adelaide (4 hrs).

ill play, ill suck but ill play.

keep em par 3's please, almost made a par on 1 :)

What about campbelltown golf course? I'd be keen to give it a shot (since I cant tolerate watching it on TV its gotta be at least a bit of fun..)

Sunny Day, Blue Skies, A Few Drinks and A Nice Stroll sounds good ®

-D

I don't mind having a round every now and then, when I have a free weekend (VERY RARELY).

Wouldn't have a clue what those terms are "ambrose and best ball"

What the??? :)

But the place HAS to have golf carts. - Refer to typevu's previous post with the mini video!

Good fun!

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
