Yep thats right they don't make one for the R32 GTST.

AP Engineering modify an existing PowerFC to suit the R32 GTST RB20DET.

From Japan inc. freight costs you are looking at around 1500 inc. gst.

Apparently ECU's dont attract a stamp duty.

Thanks for your enquiry.  Pricing information:

APEXi Power FC RB20DET: 95,403 yen

Shipping: 2,500 yen

TOTAL: 97,903 yen AU$1271

From our experience in Australia, the import system works as follows:

Cost of products + 15% (maximum) import duties + cost of shipping + 10% GST.

Note that for some parts such as engine management, there is 0% duties and 3% for turbos.

An email I received from Greenline.

lol what crap am I talking about...

Try to order a APEXI R32 GTS-T PowerFC No can do they don't have them in production and never have. AP Engineering mod them to suit the R32 GTS-T

AP Engineering Power FC RB20DET: 95,403 yen

Shipping: 2,500 yen

TOTAL: 97,903 yen AU$1271

+ 10% GST - $127.10

Brings the total price at your door step of $1398.

Sorry I was $100 off.. :bahaha:

I am aware of ECU's not attracting the stamp duty, please re-read my above post that I quoted from the email I received from Greenline Yesterday.

i called ap engineering (apexi and ap engineering although under the same company, operate as separate entities) in japan about 2-3 weeks ago about an ap engineering pfc for the hcr32. they said if i were to order and pay for one back then, i should expect one by mid october. aparently even in japan they arent that easy to get. what is the difference betweent he apexi standard unit and the ap engineering unit? well, their response to that one was "because we make one and apexi dont!" there is no real difference at all except the hike in price, unless you have the upgrades to make it the pro version.

The pro version isn't all that much more.

It offers an ignition cut instead of the conventional fuel cut that will only be of benifit if you are running for example NOS, and launch control.

Hold the accelerator flat while the clutch is in, meanwhile pressing a button will hold the rev's at a specified RPM.

    • Mixing things up - installed some leather recaros to match the leather seat covered rear seats. Interior looks pretty schmick now except for some slight wear on the steering wheel which I will monitor and address if it becomes worse or actually noticeable!

    • I'm normally copping my own abuse from neglecting my daily drivers. "Those suspension bushes will last a bit more", "Don't worry about the oil leak, just keep topping it up". The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
