The extent of the existing track

I like how a combination of tracks can be used at anyone time - except the international of course.

Though I don't like how the drift bowl will be part of the international track...........

Drifting by nature, tends to ruin the surface, especially when they drag all the dirt onto the track. Else I like.

That is one of the nicest, most balanced and ingenious layouts of any track...

Would've like to have seen a tighter last corner, aside from that though, looks really technical, and the long main and back straights allow for great passing spots! :P

Send THAT BLOKE TO BARBAGALLOS!!!! :P

"John Cotter, the President of the ARDC, announced that the master plan would be a way to cover for the impending closure of Oran Park, as well as provide world-class facilities to hold world class events, such as Japanese Super GT, FIA GT World Championship and GP2 Asia."

Super GT....super!

Actually, to me, it looks overly tight with only one potential overtaking place. Loads of mickey mouse stuff & only one even remotely high speed corner in sight. :P To be a good circuit it needs a couple things - namely elevation change combined with high speed turns.

On the upside it looks to have flexible layouts. Does anyone see the resemblance of the National Track to AIR? They have packed alot of tarmac into a small space - maybe too much?

Hopefully there will be something in it for the paying spectator, not just the bloody corporates.

So please keep this sort of thing away from Wanneroo.

yeah I'm a bit of a sceptic too. and it's as shame where we once had a nice, fast, open turn 1 we'll now have a hairpin instead. d'oh.

there are a lot of positives though. :P and it does make good use of the space.

my only other gripe is the drift track should be seperate from the main circuit and they should build another, BIG skid pan and actually let clubs use it for khana events and even drift practice etc.

Looks fun.......but!!!!

I'm with djr81. It also doesn't look like it has the same high speed flowing as the current layout.

No more high speed turn one!......I'll miss her :google:

Drift track defiantly needs to be bigger and separate to the main circuit.

Personally i don't like it and I definatley don't like the implications of making it happen. The current track is great as it is,,,there's plenty of overtaking spots unlike most other tracks in skippy land.

My only bug-bear with the current setup is you can't see shit as a spectator.

Why not bulldoze coporate hill and turn 2's hill flat,,,build some simple covered grandstands and heaps of stepped seating like next door.

Neil.

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
