People - We have a BBQ available to us for tommorrows Dyno Day so please bring all nessesary food and drink. This strictly BYO, no food/condiments etc will be provided

See all of you in the morning

Nick

Another things guys I have spoken to ASM (Auto Salon Magazine) who are interested in doing a story on the Dyno Day.

They are unable to attend unfortuantely but have asked that we get some nice hi res photos of the event.

We are therefore looking for volunteers who can take photos and email them through to me for submission to ASM.

If anyone out there can assist please let me know tommorrow

Cheers

Nick

A good morning, sorry i had to head off so early.

thought i would have made a bit more power than i did :(

good to meet some of the boys and i'll meet the rest of you next time, might possibly be coming to the big cruise next fridy.

big thanks to nick for organising.

:)

B-Man, unsure *shrugs*

I had a Bosch 040 fitted about a month ago and the car is deffinetly quicker than it was when i did the 203 at Unigroup. I don't believe that CRD ran in Shootout mode (doesn't say on bottom of the printout) so add around 8-10% to adjust for that.

Still happy though coz im only using the standard ECU and no other management :(

    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
    • Pull codes via the self-diagnosis procedure. As far as I can tell this is just a sign of transmission issues but not a code unto itself.
    • Hi All, putting the engine back together and everything is perfect except have this plug left over.. any ideas what it is for and where it goes? Is on cold side under the intake plenum *note not a stock plug, as everything has been modified Cheers
    • Sounds like a misfire. Check fuel pressure and don't even think about going into boost while it's like this unless you enjoy engine rebuilds.
