Dush
Hey guys, Looking for Fabricators that are well known for the craftsmanship in Melbourne to make me a Metal intake pipe for for turbo. It has to line up wit the factory Air box and i will be using the plum back BOV so must be able for me to plum it back in using the stock piping with minor modifications. If anyone knows a good fabricator in Melbourne, preferably in the western suburbs. Please Leave me a PM Cheers guys =] Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/233549-metal-intake-pipe/ Share on other sites

dezz
You can make your own with a piece of stainless steel pipe, cut the factory rubber one at a certain point, insert the steel and clamp at both ends... Might sound dodgy when written like that, but it works perfectly and looks almost stock. There's a DIY with pics floating around somewhere... Do-Luck
Pro-Tek are really good at welding, and have fabricated many intake/intercooler pipes before, as well as making intake plenums and the like. Kaz200
Protek in Thornbury? I really enjoyed it when they left coolant (dripping from someone else's car) on my bonnet all day.... it was still there when I picked up the car.. I have a lovely 'racing stripe' down my bonnet now... noice. Aircon doesn't work still.. win-win situation.
