hahah I've only been trying to convince V35 owners for the last 2 years that putting a titan/navara engine into a V35 is a good idea. I know if I ever buy a V35 its the first thing I'd do. (well maybe hook up a CVT tranny and paddle shift to it too... mmmm)

hopefully this gives someone in oz a good kick up the butt so it happens locally.

Installing a Stillen supercharger on the VK56DE

If the R35 GTR was the clinically precise approach to making 500hp at the wheels, then jamming the titan engine under the hood is the equivalent of using a jackhammer to amking that same figure. Both very very fun ways of getting there... but that sound... oh that sweet sweet sound, it'd put AMG V8's to shame.

which supercharger are they using to make 500hp??

obviously will need a full engine rebuild, i love the idea of the tourqe a SC and the REsponse it makes

im still undecided weather to go TT or SC but im leaning a bit more to SC right now after owning 2 very powerful turbo cars in the past wanna do something diff

pretty sure its a Stillen kit... they're faily standard bolt on kits. They have them for both the V8 and the factory V6 that's in the G35's.

What be off track a little, but what is the V8 and what/where does that get put in?

V8 is out of a Nissan Titan truck... its Nissan's biggest truck/ute thing, don't think its sold in oz, only in the US.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
