RNS11Z
Just finished dynoing my car, made 387rwhp on 22psi. Car started having fuel problems. Need another fuel pump to resolve it. Should make in excess of 440rwhp once i install the 2nd fuel pump. This was on BP Ultimate fuel. Tuned by Hardcore Racing. Turbo responds very well to boost increase though not enough fuel being sent to the engine. The turbo im using is a Garret GT35/40R. Not sure of the A/R sizes. Steve
Nice result, congrats:) Have you done internals? what other mods do you have? Cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/23570-just-dynoed-my-car-387rwhp/#findComment-504551 Share on other sites
RNS11Z
Thanks steve. Ive got forged pistons, rods, crank, modded plenum, bigger injec, fuel pump, microtech and so on. Only things that havent been touched is Cams and Cam gears. We think the injectors will be maxing out once we reach the 430-440rwhp mark. Though who knows when i can get the car back on the dyno with another fuel pump in it. Steve
hehe, thats sort of funny, the only things I am doing to my engine are cams and gear (exh). How does she drive on the street? Have you got a copy of the dyno? Is this car being built for a special purpose, or just because you can:D Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/23570-just-dynoed-my-car-387rwhp/#findComment-504576 Share on other sites
RNS11Z
I know. I want to do the cams though... all depends on the $$$ flow. It drives awersome. 1st to 3rd wheel spinning 275's. Pretty scary. I pick up the car tomorrow morning and thats when i will get the dyno sheets. But i have no idea on how i will post them. It just got off the dyno an hour and a half ago. The cars a daily driver. And believe me i have a grin from ear to ear. Im happy with fuel consumption becuase majority of the time im off boost and i can control my right foot. Though when i start pushing it abit i do watch the fuel gage go down. Im building the car cos i love the rush, i love power and being nailed to the seat. It may not be the quickest Skyline on the St or car but F**k its quick. BU5TER
I remember you saying how you thought your garrett turbo was better then a Trust td06 turbo a while back Its nice to see the power your making now as I made 303rwkw at 16psi on a remapped factory ecu running very rich, we have since had a power fc fitted and tuned at 20psi so I'll be very interested to see our comparisions once I've picked the car up and have the dyno sheey to post Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/23570-just-dynoed-my-car-387rwhp/#findComment-504609 Share on other sites
Cubes
It drives awersome. 1st to 3rd wheel spinning 275's. Pretty scary.I've really got to stop reading these threads. I am hanging out for mine to finish. And believe me i have a grin from ear to ear. Any one remember that Nissan Patrol TV Advert.???? Roy
Buster... what Trust turbo are you running again, TD06-25g? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/23570-just-dynoed-my-car-387rwhp/#findComment-505008 Share on other sites
RNS11Z
Hey buster, how you doing. I never said my turbo was better then a Trust TD06. Though it is cheaper to buy then a Trust turbo. By the way, the figures you are quoting.. is this from your black Skyline. The one i looked at?? My car would of made 303kw easy. Just a minor fuel prob. No hassles for me. GTS-t VSPEC
It's a great power figure, but I made 370rwhp on 13psi (GT30 500hp), I would have expected you to have made that power on less than 22psi. All depends on the tuner too Paul...don't forget the tune Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/23570-just-dynoed-my-car-387rwhp/#findComment-505507 Share on other sites
EVOIV
Depends on the tuner, dyno used, temperature of air on the day, mods...etc. But still, great results by all!! GTS-t VSPEC
Don't get me I'm not knock the result, just wondering why so much boost was necessary. Cubes
But it does give you a rough guide.. 22psi is pretty far away from 13psi even if the dyno's are reading different. The day doesn't affect it to much depending on what mode you run the dyno in. i.e I made 115rwkw on a cold day when dead stock then on a 34degree day I made 113rwkw. Tuner is a big aspect of the tune though. lol.. I remember thinking wow 300rwhp... now its more like oh yer.. 350-400rwhp.. big deal... hehe Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/23570-just-dynoed-my-car-387rwhp/#findComment-505552 Share on other sites
GTS-t VSPEC
I'm expecting to get 450rwhp from mine with internals and cams running 21psi. How much boost will RNS11Z have to use to get there, 30psi?
