DVS JEZ
The 800's need the rail to be lowered slightly. And yes the plugs need to be changed too Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/236467-definitive-guide-to-building-300-330awkw-gt-r/page/21/#findComment-6262640 Share on other sites
Bl0r
I have the 800cc SARD's - The units fit right in on the stock rail; I didn't have to lower it or anything, But I did modify the plugs slightly to fit the stock harnesses... they fit and work fine now. I basically just shaved down the tabs on the injectors so they don't collide with the stock harnesses and clipped them on. R31Nismoid
Ye you just shave the guide tab on the side of the plug and they go into the stock one. Moodles2
My sards didn't come with collars, I think only the side-feed applications (RB25 etc) need collars Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/236467-definitive-guide-to-building-300-330awkw-gt-r/page/21/#findComment-6262819 Share on other sites

WhiteOnRice32
I'm about to pull the trigger on buying a new pair of -5s, but a Greddy T517Z came up for sale for a lot cheaper after the Yen/USD conversion rate. Should I stick to the original plan of picking up the -5 or save some money and get the Greddy kit? Also, would the 900cc SARD fit right in like the 800cc ones would? Thanks in advance guys! Piggaz
Have a search on here but the general outcome is the -5's come on a bit more (there have been a couple back to backs). sneakey pete
I would presume the result of this thread was: Headstuds, -9's, cam gears, injectors, fuel system, E85 ecu and a tune? 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/236467-definitive-guide-to-building-300-330awkw-gt-r/page/21/#findComment-7706989 Share on other sites

I did see a thread about comparing the two, but I wish they gave more info on the Trust turbos such as if it's ball bearing or journal bearing, etc. Maybe I'm not searching well enough, but I couldn't find that info anywhere. WhiteOnRice32
http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/62054-conflicting-info-greddy-t517z-turbos.html Never mind, I found a decent thread from another forum. Anyone have experience with both T517Z and -5s that could tell me if there was a big difference in the two or not?
