Hi, just thought i would post this question here too since to see if i can get some answers from stagea owners

Check out this thread:

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Di...gi-t238927.html

I dont want to go the standard tack on gauge pod in the stagea since:

1. i want to keep the dash simple

2. the usual DIN slot where people put gauges isnt really suitable

3. i dont really want a gauge pod, for appearance, and as not to draw attention

Do you have a Boost controller?

sorry the only reason i ask is because they will give you your boost guage aswell. I had mine installed in the glove box and its fairly neat and tucked away. if i want to see what is going on i just drop the glove box down and move aside the paperwork i have over it. but then again you will still need your presure line and a few wires to your solenoid. ill take a pic later and post i up for ya.

no, no boost controller as yet. im holding off an electronic boost controller system for the moment because of money and insurance. but i will experiment with the boost solenoid piping, and so a gauge is a must.

even EBCs leave you with the problem of the display being right out of sight, down near the DIN slots or ash tray. id like something small in my heads-up field of view

Google turned up heaps of digital pressure gauges but they are around $400 - $500 and that's without a remote sender unit!!

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
