1st of all, Id call one of the blcc members (contacts on their website via the supp regs)

and see how many spots are left.

If you pay into the sau nsw account and pm an exec, we can keep an eye on it, once thats done, apply for cams licence. this is the longest part but they can fax you a 30 day temp licence if its too close to the event

God damn, been looking for my CAMS license for a few days now and nothing. I'm gonna email them tomorrow to get a new book.

If anyone's got their L2S handy, does this look like the license number so i can get the forms off tomorrow - ARTRX417966

firstly, BLCC are a shitload more organised than SAU have ever been. They organise multiple events per year on a public road under a cams permit including state and national champs which means they deal with CAMS (permits, stewards, CoC, flaggies etc), local council, rta etc etc. I don't know of any club that confirms entries. Don't forget like all other clubs these guys are all volunteers, doing this for nothing other than to let you enjoy competing in their event.

Gus - you can join the club and get a L2S license on day since there are SAU club execs if you can't get it organised beforehand.

Bobby, you need a license to compete not enter. Just put TBA on the form if you don't have a license # yet. Like Chris said its a 1xxxxxx number, but if the number is not through yet you can either use a 21 day temp license (from a club exec) or get a license confirmation faxed through in the week before.

Anyway....great turn out everyone, it will be a good weekend. I'm not going to get my entry in until I know the car is running, but it looks pretty good as long as there are still spots free for us.

Thanks Dunc,

I'll send them off tomorrow then. Hopefully as it's a reprint and not a new, they'll just send out a new passbook.

Cheers

*shiver* I'm getting those familiar shakes... the hearts thumpin'...

I wanna goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

SDMA working bee or Speed Weekend? Let my club down... Speed Weekend?

This is cruel!!

Whats Neil got to say for himself? He should be at this.

Bugger you Weevil... I had myself convinced that going to Bathurst next week, Morgan Park the weekend after, followed by OzBOSS at Wakie would be enough for the year and now I know you guys are going????? I'm so weak LOL

LOL

I was wondering when you were going to post Michele!:ermm:

Duncan - hopefully 3rd time lucky mate! I remember last 2 years you had drama's and couldnt make it, fingers crossed for you mate :D

Yeah as Duncan said, if you guys need a club exec to sign anything, I'll be there ;) thats what Im here for!

LOL

I was wondering when you were going to post Michele! :D;)

You know the right buttons to press... SPEED weekend, here we come :(;):):):) :)

I've entered the open wheeler and also entered Mark in the GTR, so we've got two cars going. The GTR is such a princess these days, I wonder what she'll think of doing a bit of work for a change??

Now I have to break the news to SDMA that we won't be attending the working bee with the grader *guilty look* before Jeno (Tarmac) dobs me in.

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
    • Hi.. Just another problem. So maybe you can help. I(my mechanic) done swap from my RB20DE NEO to RB25DET NEO. Everything is OK but we have a boost cut. Coils/Plugs are ok...AFM is ok. ECU is ok. I have Walbro 255 but it "changed" sound few months ago(you can hear it ouside) you did not hear that when it was new(maybe faulty?) Sooo...what now? What can cause this boost cut? It is even when you standing still...
