DLOOOK
few months ago i was driving along the freeway when i notice a HWP in my mirror , after a few kays i see him look down toward his centre console. then i say to the gf, here we go hes running my plates. few k's later puts the sirens on and pulls me over. he says this is a random breath test. i think "yeah, heaps random" he does the test, then asks me to pop the bonnet. then checks for the shiney bits ie BOV etc, and asks do i get pulled over much. i said no never in this car, its stock std mate GTR's come from the factory with front mounts. then he let me go the cop wasnt too bad, was just a prick for pulling me over to try to slap a canary on me. funny thing is my GF in her Suzuki takes that road every day and has never been pulled over. when i saw the cop go back to his car i noticed his driving light was smashed, was gonna ask him was that a defect lol, but thought i better keep quiet considering he didnt gimme too much grief. moral is imports are cop magnets, better off driving a clapped out rust bucket with bald tires Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/240669-incident-with-police-last-night/page/2/#findComment-4204413 Share on other sites
GTR-N1
Police have been blitzing our area for the past 4 weeks now Lachlan. I've been reluctant to take my car out at night whilst they're that intense in i) pulling over any car (-not driver) that fits a stereotype ii) having more patrol cars than usual from areas 'other than' PN or BL or SM iii) visibly patrolling with a raft of unmarked cars iv) constantly sticking a radar car further back along the On-Ramp at Emu Plains M4 One of my patients from Blackheath struck 4 stake-out HW-Patrol points on the GW-Hwy on her way down to Penrith 2 Thur ago. Tez *** When I worked in pharmacy, I used to keep 2 packs of URGENT DELIVERY marked items in my glove box whenever I owned a sports-car-police-magnet. One was ready for trips going west. The other was ready for trips going east. Funny, it helped out 2X. It's not coincidental I'm sure that it was always at night. Always struck the most intense police at night. Maybe they're vigilant about the 'fresh air' we keep in the gap next to and under the seat. joeyjoejoejuniorshabadoo
Wrong place wrong time... You were lucky in the end tho. wait till you leave a situation like that with a defect and THEN see how you feel Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/240669-incident-with-police-last-night/page/2/#findComment-4204534 Share on other sites
RB30-POWER
write a complaint to the police ombudsman. do what you can if you know the approx date and time, so they can identify said copper. no need for cops to be harassing you like that. burkill
lol, you got off. that was like watching crash investigations, and hearing from the survivors. it ruins the whole show 'cause you know they landed and survived from the beginning. even though they build up some massive story. FATAZZ
Even IF EVERYONE else has good and bad days, NOT EVERYONE is in a position to break someones life. Cruising ANY main streets on a thurs, fri, sat or sunday night is just asking for it. Johnny
We pay big for our cars and mods and registration and insurance and fuel and tax on every single damn thing ive listed there. We should have the right to drive whenever and wherever we feel like; as long as we arent endangering lives. aRiella34
LOL, it was good he turned out to be an ok guy in the end, I reckon they do it for a laugh half the time, and to see if you can keep your cool while being asked personal, irrelevant questions. The other day I was driving home from work (in peak hour traffic at its best) and I was stopped at traffic lights when I noticed something out of the corner of my eye.......................well it was 2 young cops motioning for me to wind down my window, they proceeded to say them = "do you mind slowing down please?" me = "but im not moving" LOL, I thought these guys HAVE To be joking, whilst I was laughing at my own joke I notice that neither of them were smiling??? not even a little bit????..................WTF, at that point I wound up my wondow and just drove off....................disgusted, ...........get a sense of humor at least!! JezR31
Penrith cops seem to go pretty hard on P platers no matter what it is, especially on a weekend night. Since I got my greens i havent been pulled over at all except for having to go through their rbt setups on mulgoa road. They were real smart to me when i was on my reds though. I took the great western home one night back into penrith, got to high street, i was doing the speed limit and i had just passed the station when i get passed by the station wagon they have.. i think to myself "yeah theyre gonna follow me" I look in my mirror and see them hit the brakes and do a u turn over double lines, then tailgate me all the way down to the end of the road near the embassy hotel and they finally pull me over, both of them come out and stand neart my window and ask them - "where have you been tonight?" me - "i was in parramatta" them - "oh yeah what were you doing there?" me - "i was working" them - "you werent doing anything illigal tonight were you?" me - "no, i just finished work 30 mins ago" they cut me off and say them - "are you sure?" them - "where are you going now?" me - "yeah.." me - "to the servo" them "wrong.. home" me - "ok.." At the time i had electrical problems which i thought might have been with the ignition barrel and had the plastic cover off it. them - "whats going on with that?" me - "sometimes its a little hard to start, i think the battery or starter might be on its way out" them - "hahah well usually the battery is in the engine bay HAHAhaha" me then thinking WTF They hand my licence back, and took off.. didnt breath test me, and theres like 5 cars honking their horns leaving the embassy carpark probably drunk. All the while im thinking "wtf just happened" Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/240669-incident-with-police-last-night/page/2/#findComment-4207978 Share on other sites

dan_the_man
emotional screening needs to be assesed before a pass from the acedemy would be a good thing I'd imagine even the nicest guy outta the academy could turn into the worlds biggest arsehole on an off day. the daily shit they'd get as a police officer is bound to have that effect. Kujotk
err f*k the police, all you bitches suck up to them and now u see why i hate em.. bitches. mate your a fool for saying that,,,,,,, people like you are the reason we get targeted so easily and if it wasn't for the cops, who would be there to deter car thieves from stealing your car.... NO ONE!! don't knock the cops, they do a good job, sure they may make mistakes but everyone makes mistakes and if your job is to deal with shit everyday your going to have a bad day once in a while... anyway if the guy who got pulled over acted like you the copper would have taken the car to the cleaners instead of saying that he can't be botherd doing the paper work.... i'm sure if he pulled you over he wouldn't mind doing the paper work...
