Yup that's it, attention to detail of every inch of that car is an understatement. Not to mention the 1.37 was done on a damp track with a busted front right CV.

Yes Sam builds and works on race cars for a living, and his car is always impressive and immaculate. We talk a lot on the phone, and it was great to catch up. He got my attention last year at Phillip Island. We shared a garage at this event and lots of people were coming to our garage to check out the two Nissans. I have been to his workshop, which is big immaculate shed 25 mins out of Albury on his property.

if you spring for a can of black spray paint JP the Zed could look the same...

impressive times from the XU1 Torana!

so, how many interstate people at this "National Championship"? kinda feels like the yanks' "World Series" stuff :D shame it wasn't promoted throught the other states. Did they mention any plans to do it again next year? and a date or location?

That Torry must have been the white Sports Sedan with massive gaurds and rubber.

The event was not promoted well and very late as it was approved late I heard.

Yea your right JP the xu1 was the sports sedan.

66 entrys is crap,,we get more to a state round,,,apparently it's on again next year in Vic land then the year after in QLD.

I have to echo everybodies comments on the GTR,,,bloody great looking,,,clean car. Those front brakes are bullshit. The only other GTR I have ever seen to that standard is Terry's ex-Gibson car.

I personally had a great weekend,,,9th on saturday and 5th on sunday with an overall of 7th and a 3rd in class all done in absolute disgusting weather and on shagged old tyres. Seems my suspension tweeks over night worked. A little icing on the cake was beating John on sunday and beating dennis (ex-owner)overall. Now if I had only done on saturday what i changed for sunday,,,.

Oh did I mention my body is bruised and battered from 2 days in a fibreglass seat.

John Harper is the owner of the torana sports sedan, Its got a big dollar FJ20 in a 3/4 space frame chassis, the engine is your passenger.

Its always out at the club sprints and usually one of the faster cars on the day.

But at least you had fun Neil!!!

Oh you betta beleive it buddy,,, I had a smile on my dial after every session.

Risking,,,when can I pick up my 2nd screen that I have paid for mate???. Can I send my driver tomorrow???. I would also like the old broken one back.

Neil.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
