Hey Guys

Does any have a double cannon full/catback exhaust system for their skyline?

What I mean is something that looks like this:

eBay double cannon muffler

If any of yous do, could ya tell me where you got it from?

Whether it's custom made and any contact details that you have.

Thanks in advance

Peace out. G

I've got a HKS Double canon exhaust, I've only ever seen one other apart from mine.

It looks alot better then that ebay one thats for sure :D

Unfortunately they don't make them anymore, which is a shame. :)

It'd be easy to get one custom made, just get 2 canons that look good and that will fit, and go to a reputable exhaust shop and they can weld a bracket on and do the pipe work, might wanna get it quoted though,

is it just me or does that ebay tip look like it wouldnt be that great for power? cuz at the y intersection the pipe that would lead from the back of the cat to the tip would need to be double the size as each of the tips, not the same so that when it splits in half for each cannon it as efficient as one big tip? instead of it being the same size as only one of the tips?

just guessing?

That one is deisgned for a 2" exhaust (Hence 2" inlet)

It's sad though that some people believe the tip on the last muffler HAS to be like 5 times larger then the inlet... :D

My 3" outlet, on a black 7" round bodied muffler looks stealth as cause you can barely see it!

ive got a dual N1 exhaust an the pipes go alot futhur back to join up to the muffler than that. that ebay one is a pretty bad design i say. just for looks.

Another vic forum member i met had a dual setup, looked very shmick. might have been custom

yeah I know that eBay muffler looks quite bad, though it's the only photo I found at the time that was relevant.

so what are you guys' experiences b4 and after installing the dual pipe or dual cannon exhaust system?

any major performance improvement?

It wouldn't really do the much for performance, but you do get a unique sound and look.

Personally I'm not a big fan of single canons on skylines that have a tip smaller than 4", lol :(

I'll post pics in an hour or so

no you miss understand what I was saying/questioning.... say your system in 3-3.5 inch... turbo back to the end of the car ( except for the tip) THEN you weld on a pissy little 2inch tip coming out to two larger 3 inch cannons... would that tiny 2inch part not cause a bottle neck? I understand you dont need an elephants d*ck size tip to get the best flow...

btw... in year 12 that was what my 60 year old chemistry teacher said when he came out to have a puff with some of the students and saw my exhaust for the first time.... funny man...

I only went from stock so i cant compare to a single one. I wouldnt think theres a substancial benefit in dual vs single. I got it cause i saw something similar on a 33gtr some 9yrs back and thought it looked sweet. I probably would have ended up with a single canon if I hadnt have seen it..ha

well... lols...

5 and 1/2 inch tip....

Thats a momo course exhaust for ya!

Just Jap do this one for S13/S14

I wonder if a few people put in orders for something this style for R33 they could get them made up and added to their product list, there has been quite a bit of interest for this type of thing on the forums lately...

    • Unless you're fortunate enough to buy a newer car, getting an older style plate to match your name/car is difficult because they've already been purchased.  Unlike other countries, personalised plates are locked to the country and not region, so there can't be multiple versions of the same plate but with a different area code.  Hope that helps
    • People use the numbers to make it look like letters to spell words/names, which is where the illegal spacing comes in. For example this GR Yaris

    • That's why I said it is a meaningless term. Because there is more than one meaning that people can apply to it. When we said "highflow", that is exactly what we mean, and exactly what is done. In a highflow, they take your housing and machine them out to take bigger wheels, have a better internal profile, etc etc, and fit a new core with the different/better/bigger wheels.
    • Oh sry i do not know if i used the term right. What i meant is upgrade the internals and keep the housing. That is not "hybrid"?
