As the title have suggested I need a Panel Beater.

To put the long story short, MRR34 was hit last night and needed a new rear bumper.

Job require are:

Ordering the new rear bumper (Blitz/URAS Stage 2 FPR rear bumper)

Removal of the old rear bumper

Test fit the new rear bumper

Matching my car’s colour

Spray the new rear bar

Sand/touch up/finishing my bumper

Fit the new rear bar

Final touches

Hand me back my keys

Wave me goodbye :P

So right now I need a few good panel beater names, phone numbers and location.

I don’t mind if:

They are expensive

They take a long time

They are a bit to travel (giving they are inside of Brisbane areas)

So far, I have contacted:

DMD

Cameron's Body Works

Advance Auto Body

Dr Kustom (left a message on there phone)

Thank you for reading my topic and posting information on any good panel beaters.

Thanks Becky, will give them a call tomorrow.

Ps - You sure Custom FX did DTM86??? I'm 99% sure DTM86 is the old NAW11 which DMD did the car, this was way back when Don still in his old workshop.

Yeah he had a bit of an accident and damaged everything pretty bad.. Custom Fx fixed everything and got it back to 100%, Looks perfect.. Cant even tell she's been off road lol..

    • Welcome. Dont let anyone dissuade you from your dreams. If you want a gtr, keep sabing and you will eventually get one. I feel like if I had have bought stocks, those companies would have gone bust and I would have lost my money.  There's a gamble in everything we buy. I've had good times and bad. But... I've also met my absolute best friend through this network and can't imagine life without them(more like a brother). Keep in mind, some specific mods will change as technology gets better. If you feel like general chat, there's always the wasteland.....
    • Those are some very cutesy barriers! Is that common?
    • Saw this abandoned Honda Fit in a carpark that was getting repaved... they just 'cut around it' and continued with the job! There's a number of reasons why the car could have been abandoned, but as for the construction company, legally they don't have permission to move the car from the owner (who has moved on and can't be contacted) so all they can do it just leave it there with enough space around it so it won't get damaged.
    • You’ll want to have the block drilled and tapped to suit 1/2in head studs and the head for the same. How much power do you intend to make?
    • Sorry for resurrecting an oldish thread Not much has happened in the past year since the last update. The car did another 1000 miles or so and failed the MOT for the first time in October (failed on tyres which had been advised for a couple of years) In October the car got put up for sale and was removed in November due to no interest, being so close to christmas it was to be expected. The roads were dry in February so I decided to tax it early and get the new tyres fitted.   Fast forward to April, I got someone in to give the car a good clean after sitting for the winter.                                 The car got re-advertised and today (Saturday 3rd May) the car sold. The new owner is planning a GTR conversion at some point and a respray in the same pearl white. It's bitter sweet, it's a shame to have the car sit there for half the year and then only do 1000 miles. The kids are growing too quick and space in the back is getting limited. It's been a great 6.5 years of ownership
