Are non standard BOVs illegal in NSW ???

Anyone know if non standard BOVs are illegal or not in NSW ??

Also, is it right that you can get 2 types of BOVs ?? Atmo venting and non Atmo venting ?? I would assume the Atmo Venting ones would be the ones in question here ??

Yes there are two types of BOV's... actaully theres three.

The two you mentioned - atmo venting and plumback (non- atmo venting) and a hybrid of the two.

People will give you mixed comments about this question but yes strictly speaking they are illegal and so is anything else that can even slightly change the emissions of your car such as intake, ECU etc etc. Of course this is very strictly speaking and most cops pulling you over won't give a **** if you have an aftermarket ECU... they only pin you for what they can see.
