My 34 GT-R is at the compliance workshop up your way, and needs a new starter motor. Do you guys have any connections for who'd have one and can go to the workshop and do the swap?

I'd really prefer someone who knows their shit, not just a mate of a mate - the last thing I want is dramas with this car, and when whoever does this car opens the bonnet, they will understand why

hey mate. a qiuck question. how did they come to the conclusion that the starter motor is faulty? i'm an auto elect on the northside of brissy. if it is the starter, i would like to help a sau member out.

Still plenty of charge getting to it, push starts fine, no immobiliser to speak of, and I suspect the car hasn't been driven for a fair while.

Shoot me an email and I'll discuss it with you further. Are you able to get a starter motor to suit?

Car is at Brendale, so I'd presume not far from you.

just reading your reply again. i've had a couple of lines in lately and found them to have a voltage drop from the ignition switch to the starter. it could be along shot but it is worth checking.
