Once the initial raping has been carried out; If you have a list the next time you go there they will only check whats on the list.

A good question for officer Neil.

A bit like when I filed for divorce. The Magistrates Court kept sending the application back with minor edits all the time. Even made an appointment, went in and sat down with one of the admin people. Sure enough, a week later my application turned up in the mail yet again for more amendments. Grrr. They had to find one item at a time. 9 months (since the initial lodgement), 2 adjourned hearings, and more than 8 submissions later ... I'm finally divorced.

Reasons for returned divorce application ranged from:

- mispelt surname (which it wasn't, I know how to spell my own surname idiots)

- witness signature not identified as meeting requirements (it was a Proclaimed Police Officer idiots)

- affidavit of notice served not correctly filled (it was according to their first instructions)

- application missing pages, must resubmit with missing pages (pages 5 and 6 were removed by them because the ex and I had no kids to declare) Duh!

- affidavit of notice served in person not correctly served (did not serve to ex-wife - she authorised it to be served to a third party idiots)

- cheque for fee not enclosed (umm, yes it was, try again!)

- affidavit of notice served via mail (one tiny little boxed was not ticked - could have advised me earlier)

There must be some real bright sparks working in the Courts :)

Fail.

i got done for tyres. all 4 had worn the inside edge out unknowingly!?!?! plus they were borrowed tyres while mine get re-rolled. the cops were at strath this morning(big set up like 5-10 bikes, had a r33 pulled over on the opposite side and were pulling everyone over inc bikes). they were good, open and honest. not attitude at all. told me things to make sure i check before i in for my inspection.

4 years and first actual run in with them.

Update, got it cleared yesturday night after work. so tis all good again

Booked my revisit for Thursday at 3:40. Gonna take it to the cop shop so I can atleast drive it. If I go down there with a hi-flow cat and its loud, will they defect me for it? Or will they just put it on the hoist and check off the stuff I failed for the first time? This baffle plate cannot be good for this car, its so slow the turbo barely spools.

go to your local hardware store Rok and get a 4mm T piece

lol the car is all good to go tomorrow...hopefully it passes first time

how did u go m8? ...i failed  :D

ride height was apparently too low even tho its stock and i passed with exactly same suspension setup 2 months ago... then apparently blue globes are illegal - wtf... and a little piece of rubber that goes onto engine mount had a small crack on it...

i know i shouldnt, but i lost my temper and told the guy that it all bs... he also wanted to defect me for not having all 4 screws in my front number plate, but i got so pissed off at him that he asked for second opinion and eventually let it go...

i swear regency is fkn tough now...

sorry mate, didnt have much time to talk to u there... i was late coz i got locked in my own backyard lol

Yeah, they are getting really really picky. I think everyone should really try to avoid having over the top mods on their car, Regency has just gotten that bit more stricter resulting in $1,000's to just get the car there only to fail it again.

    • Hah, fair enough! But if you learn with this one you can drive any other OEM manual. No modern luxury features like auto rev-matching or hillstart assist to give you a false sense of confidence. And a heavy car with not that much torque so it stalls easily.
    • Actually, I'd say all three are the automatic option. Just the different trim levels. The manual would be RSFS, no?
    • What Duncan said sounds right. Also, it looks like they only have the driver's mat. Not the rest. Because looking at the diagram: KG4911 is just the mat for the driver. KG4900 is the full set if I'm not mistaken and discontinued.   But, it looks like they may still have the full set for the manual S2. Might be worth checking for the other models as well as they seem slightly different. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/nissan-japan/stagea/wgnc34/6649-rb25det/misc/G49 Man, I'm tempted.
    • I dunno about that as a blanket statement. Pitwork is Nissan's "Nissan genuine" thing, and for stuff like timing belts, I have found them to be excellent. Of course, for things like oil filters, you always use proper trusted brands anyway, not whatever the OEM has taken to using.
    • Ahhhh... If you were putting 12V to the led in there, that's likely made it very unhappy. Chances are how you put power, was 12V across an LED that's meant to only have about 20mA through it at peak, and a forward voltage of about 1.8 to 2.4 volts. That circuit is likely only a 3V3 circuit, and will have a resistor in series with the led too. That's my guesstimate on that light, without having touched one.
