I'm pretty sure a 'major' defect can result in the car being towed away. Would have to be pretty bad or you really pissed the guy off.

All 'minor' defects, if more then one, it's up to the cop to decide if it's a regency issue or not.

aerocatch ones are legal according to regency

its the other style that stick up that are illegal as i got done for them

Its via direct route, you live in burnside don't you? you can make a pretty direct route to regency via tyre power surely.

As long as you aren't driving to mt barker or lonsdale the cops are gonna have a pretty hard time fining you for using your permit incorrectly, especially as they are related to the inspection. Hell if you can get to glandore via a 'direct route' then you can come borrow my 32 wheels (great tread) providing you swap all yours on so it has something to sit on until you get back, I'm going to be home all day.
