Bored ... and I'm in the middle of designing the next ink work to go on me

Post up pics of the tatts you got ... no posting of tatts you're thinking of getting or going to get. Pics of tatts on your skin only.

Here's a pic of two of my tatts (all my tatts are my own designs):

Celtic Capricorn

My racing "roo" and fighting "roo"

HPIM0012.jpg

These were done at The Tattoo Gallery years ago. My latest batch have been done by Tattoo You Emporium

These are crappy pics. I've got much more tatts, and I'll post 'em up when I take pics :D

god damn I hate tatts!

makes the wearer look like a mofo homo lol

+1. Most people I know only get tatts to look hard or for some emo reason.

Rarely do I see originality. Thats why people always get farking celtic designs, text from a language they dont speak (white guys getting chinese text, do u see chinese getting english written on them? - it probably says 'stupid white man' anyhow) or someone getting a bloody dragon, or chicks with angels, dolphins, butterflies all over themselves.

+1 to women who keep themselves looking natural. I know everyones got their own taste, but tatts stopped being cool years ago. Now its emo tryhard nonsense.

I got enuff scars to show for my life. Don't need ink for that.

-D

So people with tatts are emos? :/

I've got enough scars and xrays to paint a pretty picture of my life ... but I still love the ink. Pain does not faze me ... there are worst things in life.

All my tatts represent something big in my life and are my "trophies" for what made me who I am.

The "fighting roo" represents my success at tournaments internationally

The "racing roo" represents my love for bikes and racing them

The "celtic Capricorn" represents my star sign

The ying-yang design with the rats represents being born in the Year of the Rat

Even my tribal tatts have fill (not solid) which represents things I've been through.

None of my tatts are mere decorations :P

Tatts to come:

The hand prints and foot prints of my kid(s)

A tatt of the terrain of Takanabe, Kyoshu precinct, to be the background (to blend in with existing tatts) representing when I lived, toured and trained in Japan

An Isle of Wight celtic design representing the lost friend killed some year ago, and the trip I made to Europe to pay my respects.

lol...go grow a pony tail or something will ya :P

Agreed celtic, tribal and language tatts...nothing funnier than a skinny little fella covered in celtic-tribal crap..why cover yourself in some other cultures heritage? or dozens of little random postage stamp sized tatts, whats your theme wtf are you doing!

Yes I'm tattooed, sleeve on the right, shoulder on the left...the right arm is a nod to my Welsh side of the family tree the left is for the Austrian side. In short It tells who I am. All my work was done years before the word emo had a meaning.

My long dead grandfather was heavily tattooed....they do that kind of shit in the navy. No 10%ers for him.

Nice carp Penny....looks some good work.

Gtrkjet also nice work, you're going to love getting your kidney area shaded-colored :/

I understand everyone is entitled to have their opinion but i believe this thread is called: Show Us Ya Tattoos!, ... and where you got them done.

Not lets have a bitch session on how shit tattoos are and judge the people with them.

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
